We’re doing some really creative things inside our BNI York III chapter 💡

One of the biggest shifts we’ve made is incorporating panel-style discussions focused on real business growth topics. Instead of just hearing one perspective, our members get to learn from multiple experts within the room—all sharing insights, experiences, and practical strategies.

Last week, we hosted a panel on CRMs, where several of our chapter members broke down what they use, what works, and how to actually implement systems that help businesses stay organized and grow.

Coming up later in April, we’ll be diving into Scalability—a topic every business owner needs to understand if they want to grow without chaos.

This week we had a powerful 10-minute duo presentation from Donna VanDyne-Baldwin with VanDyne - Commercial/Business Insurance and Chris Coulson with Coulson Technologies — and honestly… it left the room thinking differently.

💻 What we think cyber threats look like… vs. what’s actually happening… are two very different things.

Here are a few eye-opening takeaways:

This week we were treated to a fantastic presentation and introduction to Spinal Flow with Kristy Kashner Darby of The Sacred Center of Healing.

Kristy shared how the nervous system and spine play a major role in how our bodies respond to stress, emotions, and physical strain. Through the Spinal Flow technique, the goal is to help the body release stored tension and allow the nervous system to reset so the body can function and heal more naturally.

During the presentation, Kristy walked us through how different areas of the spine connect to various physical and emotional responses in the body. She explained how stress, injuries, and life experiences can sometimes create blockages in the nervous system, and how Spinal Flow sessions are designed to help the body release and rebalance.

We also had the opportunity to watch a demonstration showing how gentle contact at the sacrum can activate the body’s natural spinal flow. Some people respond with subtle breathing changes, others become very still, and some experience natural body movement as tension releases.

Kristy’s mission through the Sacred Center of Healing is to create a safe space where people can relax, reconnect with their bodies, and support their body’s natural healing process.

Thank you, Kristy, for sharing your knowledge and giving our group a unique introduction to this approach to wellness!
