The North Carolina Zoo is hosting Quiet Days at the Zoo designed for guests with sensory sensitivities.

✨ What to expect:
• Fewer crowds
• No loud music or announcements
• Free sensory bags (headphones, fidgets) at Guest Services & Kidzone
• Designated quiet areas throughout the zoo
• Sensory play in Kidzone (10 AM–2 PM)

(Happens every third Tuesday each month!)

This is a great opportunity for families who benefit from a calmer, more inclusive zoo experience. 💛🦓

The Children's Theatre of Charlotte offers a sensory-friendly show designed and modified for families and friends with children or adults on the autism spectrum or with other sensory sensitivities. These shows feature:

Softened theatre lighting & sound
Dimmed house lights that remain on
Extra room in the house to move around as needed
Quiet spaces and headphones
