Son Fest Back 2 School Extravaganza Son Fest was formed is a Community back to school event.

Event includes FREE backpack give away; clothing, music, community resources, an multiple collaborations and much more. Son Fest was formed as a tribute to the late Elder Major Terry, Milton "Smitty" Smith and Manuel Pompa Sr. These 3 fathers all had a heart to serve children in need and their families in the greater Yuba/Sutter area. This vision is now being carried out by Pastor Ada Terry the daughter of the late Major Terry and Kyisha Smalling the daughter of Milton Smith. Pastor Ada Terry has dedicated much of her time to assessing the needs of our community children and doing whatever it is she can to help. This back to school event is much more than just a giveaway but a way to serve the community and reach the needs of the parents and children. There will be vendors educating those who attend on many different healthcare, financial and education opportunity's. Its primary focus is to assist the young people affected by chemical dependency, teen pregnancy, emotional and physical abuse victims, individuals who have had, as well as have, behavioral and educational disabilities.
