NAMI Oklahoma is excited to launch the 2026 NAMIWalks season with our official Kickoff Celebration, and you’re invited to be part of the momentum that fuels hope, community, and mental health awareness across Oklahoma.

Our Kickoff brings together team captains, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and new friends who want to make a difference. Whether you’re returning for another inspiring year or joining us for the first time, this event will set the tone for an unforgettable Walk season.

It's not too late to register for our next NAMI Smarts for Advocacy training!

NAMI Smarts for Advocacy is a hands-on advocacy presentation that helps people living with mental illness and their friends & family transform their passion & lived experience into skillful grassroots advocacy. Participants will learn tips on how to write, practice and tell their own story, how to speak with their legislator, steps to a powerful advocacy story, practice demos and more!
The training will take place on Monday, September 22nd from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at the NAMI Oklahoma office. Registration is required and class size is limited.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paula Walker, our former leader and a cherished member of the NAMI Chisholm Trail Affiliate. Paula dedicated many years to guiding our organization with compassion and commitment. Her presence, leadership, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
