Healthcare costs continue to rise, and many families are feeling the impact.

Out-of-pocket expenses, higher pharmacy costs, and unexpected hospital bills are making care harder to plan for and harder to afford. Too often, patients are left navigating complex systems without clear answers or consistent support.

Direct Primary Care (DPC) offers a different approach.

With transparent monthly pricing and direct access to your provider, Primary Health Partners helps manage healthcare costs while delivering reliable, personal care built around long-term health.

Care should be predictable, accessible, and centered on you. That is what Direct Primary Care was designed to do.

Dr. Elise Kuykendall shares a simple reminder during Heart Month: movement matters. ❤️

Aim for about 150 minutes of moderate activity each week—that’s roughly 30 minutes, five days a week. And it doesn’t have to mean the gym. Brisk walking, biking, swimming, dancing, or even pushing a stroller uphill all count.

A good rule of thumb? You should be able to talk, but not sing. And remember: your movement doesn’t have to be perfect or structured. Consistency is what matters most for heart health.

Small steps, done regularly, make a big difference.

Finding a physician who truly listens and looks at the whole picture makes all the difference. As Kelin Petersen shares, Dr. Farrell cares for body, mind, and overall well-being while taking the time to understand the root cause, not just the symptoms.

At our Primary Health Partners Owasso clinic, Dr. Loretta A. Farrell’s thoughtful, functional approach helps patients feel supported, heard, and confident in their care. For many, it is a rare and meaningful experience in primary care.

Your primary care provider is like an air traffic controller for your health.

There are a lot of moving parts in life. Stress. Sleep. Mood. Medications. Work changes. Family responsibilities. When everything feels like it is happening at once, your doctor helps make sense of it.

At Primary Health Partners, your provider keeps the traffic moving safely, helps prevent things from colliding, and guides you to the right next step. That could mean treatment, lifestyle support, testing, or a trusted referral.

You do not have to sort through it alone.

February is Heart Month, and it’s an important reminder for women.

As Dr. Natalie Cochenour, MD, from our E. Yukon clinic shares, heart disease is the leading cause of death for women in the U.S., and symptoms don’t always look the same as they do in men. Fatigue, shortness of breath, nausea, dizziness, jaw or back pain, or simply feeling that something isn’t right can all be signs worth paying attention to.

That’s why prevention, education, and early detection matter. Regular visits with your primary care provider allow time to review blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes screening, family history, and any symptoms that may need a closer look.

About Primary Health Partners

Now located in OKC, Yukon & Edmond, OK

Primary Health Partners is a direct primary care medical practice focusing on cost-effective healthcare for individual patients and employer-sponsored health plans in the Oklahoma City metro.

With locations in Yukon and Edmond, Primary Health Partners provides extraordinary primary care service to patients to ensure improved health outcomes while lowering overall plan cost. Instead of going through insurance and charging co-pays, Primary Health Partners charges patients a monthly fee that covers all visits, preventive screenings, and other services. Prescriptions, labs, and more advanced tests are offered to patients at a discounted rate.

Although this is not a replacement for health insurance, direct primary care provides a true alternative to patients who do not want (or can’t afford) to pay high insurance premiums every month.
