đ± The Peace Workout Back in 2026 đ±
Week two of 2026 is officially underway, and the energy is powerful! This marks our second year of implementing no processed foods during the second week of every month, and this year weâve officially expandedâand the impact is already growing.
Our âSoil to Boilâ yesterday at Boys & Girls Clubs of America The Lewis Abraham Boys and Girls Club of Lacoochee, and the kids are beyond excited. Thereâs nothing like seeing young minds light up when learning connects to real life.
This week, I asked the youth to put their feet in the groundâand yes, they looked at me like I was a little crazy. đ So I switched it up and said, âLetâs put our palms in the ground.â That moment opened the door to teaching them about the technology of natureâwhatâs happening underneath the soil, how life is built from the ground up, and how everything is connected.
The students collected soil and examined the current state of the garden beds, helping us determine what weâll be implementing over the next quarter. Ownership. Awareness. Education. This is how growth starts.
A huge thank you to our food partner for supporting seasonal eating this week . The youth enjoyed fresh strawberries and bananasâwith a twist. I like to add flaxseed, and none of the kids had ever tried it before. Once they learned that these tiny seeds help stimulate the brain and support better decision-making, they were all in! They also learned how potassium supports heart health, turning snack time into a lesson for life.
One of the most powerful moments came when the youth began asking questions about processed foods. I said, what is in your backpacks and where do you like to go out to eat? we saw all these eyes light up of unawareness. Many had no idea just how many processed options are out thereâor what those foods can do to their bodies. Now, theyâre curious, informed, and officially part of the expansion of .
This is more than food.
This is about education, empowerment, and planting seedsâboth in the soil and in the mind.
Hereâs to a strong start to 2026 and another year of helping our youth Eat Good. Feel Good. Look Good.
