Pricing List:
This is a general price list to give you an idea of what a project might cost. However, every project will be unique in its pricing based on cost of material and labor. Cost varies by species of wood, supplies used, and finishes used. The final price of a project will be no less than double the cost of material (Example: If your project costs me $100 it will cost you at least $200). Due to difference in sizes of many of these projects it is possible that your final price could be lower than what is listed. I have listed below the price for standard sizes made with a mid-ranged priced wood such as oak. Bottle openers: Starting at $25
Picture frames: Starting at $30
Cutting boards: Starting at $40
Pistol grips: Starting at $50
Table lamps: Starting at $125
Full length mirrors: Starting at $150
Medicine cabinets: Starting at $250
Coffee tables: Starting at $300
End tables: Starting at $400
Dining room tables: Starting at $1250

These prices come with a guarantee of my work. Each piece is designed by myself. I don't follow plans out of a book from a store (although if you want to bring me plans for a project I can follow them). It's my belief that each piece has a distinct character of its own that takes shape with each step of the building process; therefore, I treat each project uniquely and attempt to bring out and enhance the natural beauty of the wood in every step. Everything I make is made with the desire to give my customer a product that they love and one that they can pass down to their grandchildren. I build my products with quality wood and with quality craftsmanship and that's why I put my name on each piece because I believe in my craftsmanship.

A week ago, I drove with my family to Auschwitz in Poland. It’s hard to describe the feelings I had walking through the place where some of the most wicked atrocities were performed in all of history. The one thing that I couldn’t get out of my head was how quiet and peaceful it was there now. No sounds of cars, planes, construction, or people. It was as if the very earth around knew what had happened here and vowed for peace and gentleness out of respect for those who were slaughtered here.
This video is from the back of the camp. This field is one of the fields where the N***s openly discarded the ashes of their victims. The 4 gravestones are inscribed in 4 different languages to the memory of those who now share this field as their final resting place.

It has been quite a long time since I’ve posted anything. Since last year, in fact. I can’t believe how busy I’ve been at work and just in life. But I’m finally getting a little bit of a breather and here is a project that I started on Monday and we installed in our client’s flat today. It is a massive entryway organizer. It has plenty of shelves for the CDs that our client wanted to put there as well as storage space beneath for shoes or other hallway supplies.
Can’t wait to post some more projects that I’m working on and some that I’ve finished.

So if you were looking for high quality Woodworking while I’m in Europe, my brother has started his own Woodworking business and I would say his Woodworking is even better than mine. So I would definitely give him a call. But you might want to hurry because from what he has told me he is getting a lot of orders.

Another project that I made before I left for the Czech Republic. My mom also had me make this toy chest for her grandchildren. The box that she kept the toys in was falling apart and she needed a new one. So she looked online for different toy boxes and designs that she liked. She found one, showed me the picture, asked me if I could make it, and I said yes. We then gave it the proper measurements to fit into the space where she would put it and I got to work. It took me about 1 week to complete. That included me drawing up the plans, going to the sawmill to pick up the lumber, cutting boards to size, sanding, gluing, sanding, screwing it together, sanding, priming, sanding, painting and sanding (3x), and finally installation. To give it another unique design, my two nieces got to put their hand prints on it, sign it, and paint on it. They really enjoyed this and allowed them to feel like they owned it too. This was a really fun project for me because I got to see its usefulness and fix a problem.

This Thanksgiving I am thankful for my apprenticeship here in the Czech Republic.

I didn't build these kitchen cabinets, but a coworker did and I was a part of fine tuning the installation as well as taking the pictures of the final product.

I made this stool in 2 days right before I left for the Czech Republic. My mom was wanting a kitchen stool for her grandchildren to be able to sit at the table. Her grandma had one and she loved that it was the perfect height for young children to sit at the table. She only said that it needed to be that perfect height and that she wanted it to be walnut but she left me to create my own design for it. So what I did was inlayed white oak into the top in squares and then ran the inlays down the legs as well. The legs are inset into the top 5/8" and the foot rests are also inset into the legs 5/8" giving it superior stability and should keep it from coming apart later. It was awesome to put this thing together in just a few days and she absolutely loved the finished product.
