STATEMENT: EMAIL HOAX REGARDING CANCER

Information falsely attributed to Johns Hopkins called, "CANCER UPDATE FROM JOHN HOPKINS" describes properties of cancer cells and suggests ways of preventing cancer.

Johns Hopkins did not publish the information, which often is an email attachment, nor do we endorse its contents. The email also contains an incorrect spelling of our institution as "John" Hopkins; whereas, the correct spelling is "Johns" Hopkins.

Every year, on the third Thursday of November people across the nation motivates smokers to take part in the Great American Smokeout. On that day encourage someone you know to quit or make plans to quit smoking that day. Even if it's just for one(1) day. Smokers would be making a great impact on their health and would also decrease their chances of getting cancer. No matter what age you are quitting can have its agile,but long-term benefits. Quitting can be tough, but in the long run it will help you and the ones around you. Smokers should know they're not alone. Through counseling or medication smokers would feel better than ever. VI Supreme Home Care would like to encourage smokers to quit smoking and make a change in their lives
