✨ MINDFULNESS WHEN THE DARK ARRIVES ✨
As the days grow shorter and the evenings draw in, our world becomes quieter, slower, darker. For some, this shift brings comfort and a chance to cosy up and turn inward. For others, it can feel heavy, even a little lost in the dark.
But mindfulness reminds us that light still exists, even here.
It lives within us, waiting to be noticed.
🕯️ Slow down.
🕯️ Notice your thoughts.
🕯️ Create small, mindful rituals through your favourite things: your morning coffee, a slow walk in nature, or your evening skincare routine.

On 12th November 2025 at 7pm (GMT), join me for 90 nourishing minutes from the comfort of your own home. Together, we’ll write, breathe, reflect and tend to the parts of ourselves that deserve more light. 🌕🍂

🧣 blankets + candlelight absolutely encouraged

No experience needed. Just a willingness to show up for you.

Mindfulness isn't just meditation; it's being present in your daily life. You don't need a fancy setup or a step-by-step guide. Simply be aware of your surroundings, anytime and anywhere. Can you be present in this moment?

🌲✨ The Christmas rush is coming… but what if you pressed pause instead?

Black Friday will have been and gone. The to-do lists, the wrapping paper, the “just one more thing before the holidays” chaos — all starting to swirl. 🎁🎄

Before it all sweeps you up, join and Janire for a soul-soothing mindfulness walk at Haughmond Hill — a gentle 90-minute wander designed to help you slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself and nature. 🍃

This isn’t a fitness walk. There’s no finish line or pace to keep.
It’s about presence — the scent of pine, the crunch of leaves, the soft winter light through the trees. A chance to pause, reflect, and reset before the festive whirlwind.

Together, we’ll explore mindful moments through:
🌲 A grounding meditation
🍃 A sensory journey through the five senses
🖊 Nature journaling

Expect a calm, nurturing space where you can exhale, unwind, and rediscover that quiet inner peace that gets lost in the December madness.

Led by Janire, Mountain Leader & founder of Ray of Sun Adventures, and Lowri, Ecologist & Mindfulness Teacher — together we’ll guide you through a mindful forest experience to restore calm, focus, and joy, even in the depths of winter.

🐑 Week 43/52 🐑

It’s so easy to forget all the amazing moments that make up a single week. That’s why I love these weekly summaries: a few quiet minutes each Sunday to appreciate the people, experiences, and emotions that have shaped my days. Some weeks feel light and joyful, others heavy and challenging. Life ebbs and flows. It never pauses or waits for us to catch up. It carries us forward to our final destination… Sometimes whole and intact, sometimes in pieces.

Life is a lot. It doesn’t need to be perfect. It doesn’t need to look like a Hollywood blockbuster or sparkle like a gold bar. Messy chaos can be beautiful too, just like the heap of colourful autumn leaves gathered at the end of your drive.

Did you know that I’ve had voice training⁉️
In North Wales, all Welsh schools would compete at the Eisteddfod; a traditional Welsh festival celebrating literature, music, and performance. Most children were encouraged to take part, and I decided to recite a piece of Welsh literature alone on stage one year.
At the time, I was a quiet and timid child, so I’m not quite sure where that confidence came from 😂. For months, I had one-on-one voice training to learn how to recite with emotion and connect deeply with an audience. I was the youngest competing and got 3rd place 🥉🥰🤭
These days, I use my voice a little differently… To bring calm, relaxation, and rest to my yoga students. Many people tell me after class how soothing my voice feels 💜. I love that something I once practised for competition now helps others find peace.
The voice truly is a powerful tool.

Garbled mind purge: A week of Shroobs in the gloom 🌫️. A thick blanket of cloud and not much sunlight. When the sky is glum in autumn, look down. The colour is on the floor 🍂. Remember to take your vitamin d sups. This was probably the most productive week of the year. Leaf litter and shrooms adorned our nature spaces 🍄🍄‍🟫🍄. Finally got my recovery back up to 100% after working on nervous system regulation for 3 weeks. This health malarkey is a long game. No quick fixes. 10 weeks left of 2025. So much potential. Let’s go 🙌🏻✨ {does anyone actually read this stuff? 💩😂}
