Meet Ellora Kothare — a therapist, creative arts practitioner, and storyteller whose work bridges psychology and the arts. 🌿

Ellora supports adults navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, and challenges of self-worth, integrating creative arts therapy, somatic practices, and psychodynamic theory to foster resilience and self-discovery.

Her early training in Kathak opened a pathway between movement and healing, shaping her belief in the body and story as powerful containers for transformation. Ellora is passionate about creating spaces where creativity and therapy meet to support connection and growth.

We’re honoured to have Ellora share her artistry at Rangotsav. ✨

Kutana Wema co-leader, Barbara Brown, was so pleased to be invited to the Pre-Primary 2 (senior kindergarten) graduation of 3 Wema beneficiaries during her most recent visit.

Wema Centre's 360-care provides educational assessment and school placement, remedial school, and life skills training options for all the children in their care. Wema’s motto - education, education, education!

They know firsthand how access to education reshapes other social determinants of health and creates incredible opportunities for Wema’s kids to excel, heal, and create new possibilities for their lives.

Proud to have been with them to celebrate!

Meet Anam Zakaria — an oral historian, author, and storyteller whose work explores memory, migration, and the politics of belonging.

As Co-Founder and Strategic Director of Qissa, she documents oral histories of immigrants to Canada, challenging the western gaze through which these stories are often framed.

A recipient of the 2017 KLF-German Peace Prize, Anam is the author of three books and has been published in The New York Times, The Walrus, and Al Jazeera.

We’re honoured to have Anam share her artistry and insight at Rangotsav. 🌿
