Meet Professor Pradeep Bhandari
"It has been 18 years since I started the Endoport symposium. In 2006, EMR & ESD of large polyps and that of upper Gi neoplasia was not prevalent in the western world. Optical diagnosis was not well understood and EUS was in it's infancy. The aim of the symposium back then was to highlight the endoscopic innovations happening around the world, meet world leaders in the field of endoscopy and provide platform for industry to highlight there new devices and applications. Eighteen years down the line, our aim remains the same!
Over the years, this event has helped inspire Gastroenterologists and Trainees around UK and abroad to take up endoscopy as their passion and am pleased to see them becoming world leaders in this field.
