Our sweet Marin blessed us with her love, loyalty, humor, and charm. She guarded fiercely but loved unconditionally with every ounce of energy she had every day. What a privilege it was to call her ours and to be able to care for this amazing girl for 10 years.💗She’s a Dachsador and one of the greatest dogs ever! Our hearts are broken as we feel this heavy loss, but we know she is in heaven with her best friend Hurley playing tag. Keeping running fast and jumping high sweet girl! We can’t wait to see you again, one glorious day! 🐾🌈🪽

Cheers to 2025! 🍨 What should my word of the year be? Check my poll!

Reflecting on my 2024… celebrations, family time, kids sports & plays, trips, and friends. I love all of those moments. I’m also grateful to come to know Christ more. I found more comfort in prayer and trust in God this year. And my word for 2024 was Freedom. I got it in my choices, my options and in my work life… especially at the end of the year when my fitness work with BODi got “laid off”. Yes I have freedom and I love it!

Diet: what you eat & drink. 🍩🥤
Story: I had a fellow friend instructor tell me (when we both worked at a gym in CA in the 90s), her big dieting secret - gummy bears & wine! 😳🤢
A few years later (early 2000s at a gym in UT), a fellow instructor told me her secret was iceberg lettuce & butter spray! 🤯🤮 I had actually paid her $100 to train/coach me, but after I heard this I cut my losses and didn’t go back to her.
So many girls/women do damage to not only themselves, but others too - with bad nutrition tips. So this is just a reminder to you that not everyone you see out here on SM has the best practices. 😉
Find people who have serious experience and are real talk about nutrition, exercise, and want what’s best for YOU and not just a quick buck. 💚
