In one deck, Marchosias is the 9 of Wands, in another the 9 of cups. With great satisfaction comes the fear that "the other shoe will drop" Depicted as a great She-wolf, Griffin, Serpent.
She is in a Forrest and the moon is full. She has 9 cups but note she stands on the cups. I'm reminded that not all that glitters is gold here. I also detect some defense of the cups, which fits nicely with the 9 of wands. I put myself in this scene and I know people and population is close, but from them I detect curiosity but greed. Someone always wants what you have, thus the defense. I'm reminded by this tarot card and this Demon that we all must face the 8 of cups to reach the 9 of cups. Remove ourselves from our comfort zones. Marchosias fights. She is strong and faithful. And so should we be. Learn from your wounds, to move forward and reap the rewards of the 9 of cups.
