Hey ladies! 🌟 As a health and wellness coach, I believe in practising what I preach. Today, I reflected on one area of my Natural Brain Function. I may be creative and imaginative, and I function best when I’m inspired. Artistic activities and thinking outside the box really help! 🎨💡

Quick tip: If you’re feeling sluggish, take some time to dream up something new. It can really make a difference! ✨

I have to admit, keeping track of my ATO expenses, health coaching, and nursing education can be quite the challenge, especially during this stage of life. 😅 I often feel overwhelmed trying to tackle everything at once and forgetting what I’ve already done. So, I’ve come up with a game plan! 💪 Every time I exercise, I’ll tackle one task I’ve completed. It’s a simple way to stay on top of things, and I feel most motivated right after a workout!

Now, it’s time to unleash my artistic skills and see what I can create! Let’s go! 🎉🎨✨

🌟 Using Mind for Mindfulness: Embracing My Brain's Strengths in Perimenopause 🌟

It’s interesting to see how our brains work differently at this stage of life. I’ve have known for quite some time that, I can easily track objects and have strong hand-eye coordination 😂😂😂😂

🧠 Tip for me: Engage in fun eye-hand coordination activities to keep my brain healthy!

Table tennis is my go-to! I’ve got a table at home, so I can play every day if I want. It keeps me engaged and mindful while having fun!

I’m currently dealing with an injury, but it’s not the end of my fitness journey! 🚴‍♀️🌈 Here are some quick facts on why injuries can happen during perimenopause:

1. Hormonal Fluctuations: Affects joint stability. ⚖️
2. Decreased Bone Density: Increases fracture risk. 🦴
3. Muscle Mass Changes: Impacts balance. ⚡
4. Longer Recovery Time: Be gentle as you heal. 🌸
5. Increased Fatigue: Affects focus and stamina. 😴

🌟 Lunch Inspiration for the Perimenopausal Journey! 🌟

Today, I dug into my cupboard and discovered some delicious packets of cashews from Christmas! 🎄✨ With that in mind, I decided to whip up a nourishing Leek and Cashew Nut Quinoa Salad! 🥗💚

Cashews are a treat I enjoy once a week or less. You might wonder why? 🤔 One reason is that, while they’re rich in healthy fats and important minerals, they don’t contain as many phytonutrients compared to other nuts. Phytonutrients are natural compounds found in plants that provide health benefits, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune-boosting properties.
