My last post was just after Easter getting excited about eating fresh and well again after a bit of a lapse.
So far so good!!
I’m eating more throughout the days I’m training/working and less when my body needs it less on quiet days. Never have I felt so good by eating more food ☺️☺️
I’m focussing on reaching my personalised macro targets each day.

I thought I would share some of the meals I have been enjoying which are easy to cook.

Eating healthily doesn’t have to mean hours slaving away, but the time you do spend prepping, chopping and cooking from fresh is 100% worth it.

I hope to give some easy ideas to you to add into your food plan.

5 weeks until my holiday I have some goals.
Better get on with it!!

I’m excited to start a new nutrition plan this week!! 🥗🍗🥩🍠

I’m not on a diet, I’m learning more about eating sensibly and nutritionally well for me and my activities.

If you need a boost or some encouragement today then think about just one thing you could do to increase your health through nutrition.

Drink some more water, eat fresh not processed where you can and be mindful on how the food you eat affects your body.

Who is going to accept a Monday challenge?? 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Challenge is to do something every day this week which will benefit your health and will be a personal test for you.

Some ideas might include eat a healthy breakfast every day, drink water not wine, complete 10,000 steps each day, take the stairs instead of the lifts, do 20 press ups.

Hi all how is your January going??

Loving the new releases but feeeeeeling it all this week!!

Remember if you go to a new class this month or try a new exercise then it’s great to go a few times to get used to it before deciding if it’s for you or not.
When you do a class at first it can be very confusing but the more you go, the better you get and the more used to if you will become. Most importantly you will begin to feel the health benefits 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Hopefully not tempting fate here but I’m feeling very grateful we are back in January, teaching classes face to face. It feels wonderful!!!

Well done to YOU if you got your butt to the gym or a class this week, starting is always the hardest bit!

Even if your legs feel like they’re in tatters 🙋🏼‍♀️ don’t panic, it’s all good 😊

Happy new year!

I am so looking forward to seeing everyone back to classes and the gym in January, it’s always the best time with everyone so motivated!

I haven’t done any classes since the 23rd and did 2 classes today and I thought I would pass out 😳😳
I had to get off the bike in rpm and take some air as I was getting so dizzy! 😵

So……we’re in this together!!

Happy Friday!
I hope you are all ok and looking forward to a rest at Christmas!!

I’ve just completed my last ‘proper’ gym session on a Friday morning as after Christmas I will be teaching Fridays at the Village, Bracknell. ☺️
(When I say proper I mean over 30 minutes 😉)

If anyone is remotely interested I am posting my September goals progress below in pic 👇🏻
My weights haven’t been as heavy as I thought, I have increased though where I can legs permitting.
So pleased with my pull up progress ⭐️
I have managed over 10,000 steps since end of August…so chuffed with that ⭐️
Running just didn’t happen!!

My weight is maintained from October now and I think weight training in gym has really really helped my body. If there’s anything you can do in the new year is mix up training with cardio, classes and gym weights. It’s very beneficial.

If you have achieved a goal you set out in the last couple of months I’d love to hear about it ♥️

About me

HI! I’m Helen. I’m a group fitness instructor and my wonderful job is to deliver daily exercise to anybody who attends my classes! I am really passionate about nutrition, how to keep healthy through what we eat and drink. I have been working as a fitness instructor since 2010 currently teaching a range of Les Mills classes and my own freestyle aerobics and conditioning. I use the gym to enhance my own fitness levels and to train to teach.

A healthy lifestyle is really important to me...it is what fuels us and keeps our mind happy and our body strong.
