In January, I said yes to something that felt both exciting and a little bit terrifying. I joined a coaching mastermind for women ready to truly up-level every area of their lives. From fitness and nutrition to business and mindset.
I signed up with the amazing Kirsty and stepped into her coaching container joining a group of inspiring women all on their own growth journeys.
Yesterday, we finally met in person at a beautiful private dining experience in Glasgow. The brief for the evening….
Dress as your highest version of you. 🙈😜
OMG - that stirred something in me.
Fear Nerves Doubt.
I noticed old stories creeping in
“You don’t belong there” and “you’re not good enough to be in a room like that.”
It would’ve been easy to stay small, to make excuses, to play it safe, to hide in my comfort zone.
But instead, I chose differently.
With help from my amazing sister (who should be a personal stylist btw), and a lot of inner work using my coaching toolkit, I made the decision to look fear in the eye and show up as me. Authentically, openly, and with a genuine curiosity for getting to know the incredible women around me.
And you know what?
It was a FAB evening 🥳❤️
I laughed loads, I connected, I felt inspired and most importantly, I felt like I belonged.
This morning, reflecting on it all, I was reminded of something very very powerful:-
Fear doesn’t mean stop.
Fear often means go for it.
Those old stories that show up? They’re not always your truth, they’re echoes of the past trying to keep you safe. But when you bring awareness to them and choose to move forward anyway that’s where the magic happens.
So here’s your wee reminder for the week ahead.
No matter where you are on your journey, fear will likely be there. Limiting beliefs might pop up. But please don’t let them keep you small.
Move with the fear.
Show up anyway.
Because incredible things are waiting for you on the other side.
Have a fantastic week ❤️🙏
