Hi Everyone,

As 2024 draws to a close, I reflect on another year where it brings me no greater joy than the opportunity to express how grateful I am for our patients, our practice and staff, and the Doctors who choose to commit their time at Health at Dulwich to serve their patients.

2024 has been another busy and challenging year for Health at Dulwich on many fronts. We successfully passed with flying colours our triennial accreditation against RACGP Standards. Our patient feedback survey results of 96% satisfaction rating ranging from "good through to excellent" throughout the year, show that we have room for improvement as we continue to always strive towards excellence.

Health at Dulwich also recently celebrated 8 years since opening in December 2016. It was wonderful to mark the milestone and celebrate Christmas with all team members of the practice.
On behalf of the team at Health at Dulwich, I would like to sincerely extend a big thank you to all patients for continuing to entrust their health care with their Doctors at Health at Dulwich. I also thank patients for their understanding, patience and support as we continue to navigate the ongoing challenges that General Practice faces.

To Tarsh – our wonderful practice manager,
Xixi, Jessica, Amy, Chloe, Ratha, and EunAh, – our nurses,
and our front desk of Grace, Erasmia, Jessye, Aarya, Skye, Jonte, Ashley, and Amalia,
I must thank you all for your commitment, efforts and care you provide the Doctors and their patients, and each other day-in-day-out. You are the backbone of our practice and my A-Team.

To Doctors John Au, Melissa Wright, Lian Chen, Ruth Baigent, Anita Daniel and Crina Solomon… Health at Dulwich is truly blessed that you continue to choose our practice to serve and care for your patients.

You are all fantastic GPs and all truly practice with Care, Compassion and Commitment.
I thank you with all my heart and I cherish our friendship, and thank you for being in our family.

In the spirit of the holiday season, whether you are celebrating the Festive Season and New Year at home or travelling, we would like to extend our warmest wishes and joy to you and your families.
Take Care, Stay Safe, and All the Best for a Healthy and Wonderful 2025.

Love, Alice

On R U OK? Day, I wish to take this opportunity to reach out to all patients, colleagues, family and friends and say Hello! and let you know that we are here to hear.
Life happens every day and I am forever grateful that I have wonderful colleagues who share the same values as I do and are committed to caring for you and your families together with me.
Thank you to fellow Doctors and the wonderful team at Health at Dulwich for your ongoing care and commitment and for being here to hear, not just today but throughout the year.
Love always ❤️,
Alice

Many people don’t realise GPs are specialists. We do the same eight years medical training as any other medical specialist, plus at least three years training in a practice to specialise as a GP.

The role GPs play in our health system is unique. GPs are the only specialists who provide ‘whole person care’, from the start of life right up until the end.
Research shows the value of the GP-patient relationship, and how it results in better health. People who have a regular GP have less hospital admissions and live longer, healthier lives.

GPs are the most visited health professional in our country, and nearly half of all Australians are living with chronic illness, including mental health issues. This means more people require complex, ongoing care in the community from a GP, who knows them and works together with other specialists, allied health, and nurses to ensure they get the best care, and – just as importantly - the right care, at the right time.

This World Family Doctor Day, I want to thank Drs Crina Solomon, Anita Daniel, Ruth Baigent, Melissa Wright, John Au and Lian Chen for their care, compassion and commitment to their patients at Health at Dulwich in helping them live healthier and longer.
