Today we made a special cake for our wonderful clients Matty and Neil! 🎂

Neil’s birthday is today and yesterday was Matty’s, so we couldn’t miss the chance to celebrate them both! 🥳

Today in our cooking session it was Taco Tuesday! 🌮🎉

Our clients had lots of fun gathering the ingredients and then assembling their own delicious tacos. From fresh fillings to tasty toppings, everyone got involved and enjoyed creating their perfect combination.

The end result? Some very happy faces and full bellies – it was absolutely delicious! 😋

This week, we’re proud to shine the spotlight on Rebecca!

Rebecca joined us in late 2023 and has since brought a wealth of experience, compassion, and knowledge to our team. Her journey into the support industry is deeply personal and incredibly inspiring.

After witnessing firsthand the challenges of finding the right support for her son following his ASD diagnosis, Rebecca experienced how disheartening it can feel when care lacks genuine connection—when people are treated like just a number. Determined to make a difference, she chose to step into the industry herself.

Rebecca is passionate about providing meaningful, person-centered support and ensuring every individual she works with feels seen, valued, and understood. Her empathy, dedication, and lived experience make a lasting impact on both our team and the people we support.

March Recap! 🎉

Now that it’s April, we’re excited to share our March recap video! Our team and clients have had such a fun and busy month filled with plenty of great experiences, achievements and lots of laughs along the way.

Some of the highlights included trips to the zoo, our clients painting amazing 3D printed models of themselves 🎨, enjoying dinners out together, and plenty of coffee runs to Zarraffas.

We also celebrated St Patty’s Day, took relaxing beach trips 🌊, went to a thrilling murder mystery night 🕵️‍♂️, and enjoyed swims at the lagoon.

We were proud to launch our new Friday haircuts at the hub 💇‍♂️, had an awesome night out seeing Rocky Horror at the Pilbeam Theatre 🎭, shared plenty of fun dance moments at the hub 💃, and saw fantastic progress in hydrotherapy 💪.

To top it all off, our vegetables and herbs are growing beautifully in the garden 🌱 — we can’t wait to use them in future cooking sessions!

We are so excited to see what this month brings!

Everyone had a great time searching high and low to find their hidden eggs, with lots of smiles and excitement along the way. A wonderful activity filled with fun and a little bit of Easter magic! 💛

Today in our cooking session we got into the Easter spirit by making some delicious Easter treats! 🐣🍫

We started off with some cute Easter nests, complete with little eggs in the middle! Then we took things up a level and made giant pods using cookie dough, filled with gooey caramel and chocolate, so yum!

Such a fun and creative session, and the end results looked amazing (and tasted even better!). Everyone did a fantastic job and enjoyed getting hands-on in the kitchen while celebrating Easter together. 💛
