The Color Fun Run yesterday was fantastic! The Walk 4 Life is very thankful that Little Rascals allowed us to participate and receive a donation from their proceeds ❤️ It’s been rough (apparently impossible) to come up with a different day for our Walk now that our traditional day isn’t available. This event was a perfect way to support two extremely valuable programs in our Valley! No matter what, this fun family day is going to be a keeper.
And I want to give a huge shout out to these fellas for being the “safe keepers” during the Run/Walk. Ed Belohlavek and Kyle Jeffrees didn’t even flinch when asked to man the hwy crossings and simply said “glad to help”. I don’t have a picture of Cindy Cobb at her crossing station, but she was there keeping everyone safe as well. And finally a thanks to Trooper Joe Devlin Nikki Devlin for shutting down that truck going 9-0 off the hill and generally being the safety presence needed for a day with kids on bikes, moms with strollers and us old folks afoot☺️👌
