There are few things that bring me more joy than dancing. It's not just exercise; it's a release, an expression, and a way to connect with myself and others. What are you dancing to today?

Missed one-man band show? More gigs to come in 2026! Come dance with me! 💃🏾

Shinrin-Yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, invites us to slow down, breathe in the fresh air, and connect with the natural world around us. It gives us the opportunity to cleanse away the layers of stress that keep us from enjoying simple pleasures and taking the time to rest, restore, relax, rejuvenate, and heal.

Each month, The Joyful Path and Bluebird Dermatology will be offering a deeper dive into this practice. Our next walk is Sunday, November 16th at 4pm at Meyer Park in Spring. Come join us!

In a world of filters and curated feeds, true magic often hides in plain sight. ✨

It’s in the smell of coffee in the morning, the intricate patterns of sunlight on the floor, witnessing an act of kindness, or the resilience of a tiny sprout pushing through concrete. Finding awe doesn't have to be about grand gestures or exotic travel; when we shift our gaze to the beauty already surrounding us, we notice the awe and wonderment in everyday moments. 🌿

This week, I challenge myself (and you!) to pause and appreciate the extraordinary within the ordinary. Let's find wonder in the small moments that make up our days. What simple thing has brought you a moment of awe recently? Please share in the comments! 👇

Fun fact: Ireland is my spirit country. I don't have a lick of Irish in me (that I know of), but there's something about the land, the music, the people that stirs my soul with so much joy. I feel home when I'm there. And now I have so many friends there who've become family whom I love and adore and who love me... so much so that they notice the things that bring me joy and will send me early Christmas presents like this. I didn't think it was possible to shed tears over a bag of crisps... until now. It's the little things. 🥰

Wake-up calls can be uncomfortable, but they're often the catalyst for change. They give us the gift of clarity, allowing us to see reality without the filters of fear, pride, and shame. Embracing our vulnerabilities and recognizing our powerlessness can be humbling, but it is in those moments that we're invited to transform our pain and suffering into meaning, purpose, and joy. Into our deeper calling to live fully and love deeply.

We live in a world that thrives on distraction, making it easy to avoid pain and silence. But in the stillness, we can tap into a deeper love and presence, let go of the stories that no longer serve us, and awaken to the truth of the present moment and the divine within.

"One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light, but by making the darkness conscious." - Carl Jung
