Diabetic patients are more susceptible to two main types of glaucoma:

Open-angle glaucoma: This is the most common type of glaucoma, where the drainage system in the eye becomes blocked, leading to increased IOP.

Neovascular glaucoma: This type occurs when new blood vessels grow on the iris (the colored part of the eye) and block the drainage system.
