It's time for a bit of self-lovin'!!! ⠀
❤️💜💙️⠀
Remember to take some time out and stretch your way into the weekend! Sometimes the weekend can be just as busy as the week when it comes to pushing your body and mind. ⠀
Socialising is a great way to help feel loved and give love but remember to always look after yourself. The week has taken its toll on you.⠀

So here are just two simple suggestions as to how to relax your way into that peaceful place in case you have mayhem planned! 🍾 ⠀

1. Stretch. This is a good way to prepare the body, physically and mentally for the day ahead. A long stretch is an ideal way to increase the energy flow throughout your body too which is essential for that ME time. ⠀

Using the exercise ball will help stretch and support the lower back and shoulders after sitting at your desk all week or if you have those pains after a tough workout! 💪⠀


2. Meditate. Sit somewhere. Lie somewhere. You don't have to think that you need to go big time Buddha style. Listen to the sounds around you. If your mind wanders just bring it back to the present moment. Focusing on your breath going in and out of your body is a good way. If your thoughts come back don't worry, acknowledge them and then go back to listening to the sounds around you and your breathing. Don't worry about keeping still. Just BE. 🧘🧘‍♂️

Ladders are great for team sports as the drills boost quickness, foot speed, coordination, and body awareness. ⠀
It helps us to change positions quickly, using quick, controlled movements whilst engaging both the mind and body, providing an exciting workout by yourself, with a buddy or with a team.⠀⠀⠀
However,for those people who aren't playing team sports the ladder allows us to improve our balance and natural reflexes.⠀⠀⠀

Everyone thinks that young athletes are the only ones using agility ladders. ⠀⠀⠀

Anyone can use these ladders. For young kids training in a team, by themselves in the garden, athletes, for people needing rehabilitation to older people who need help with their coordination. ⠀⠀⠀

Use our exercise routine guide to become more coordinated, the drills will help strengthen your joints, ligaments, and tendons while improving coordination and focus. You’re not only working your muscles and joints but creating an exercise for your heart and mind! ⠀⠀⠀

Exercising on a birthing ball can help to reduce any back pain you are experiencing and make it easier for you to move around. It can also help ease labor pain and reduce the pain of contractions (especially if you use it for a couple of months before you give birth).⠀⠀

For some of us we may be suffering from anxiety and perinatal symptoms. The ball can help decrease anxiety as well as shorten the first stage of labor. It is also great to use after pregnancy as you can bounce gently on the ball whilst breast feeding and keeping that posture intact.
