The mental healing never stops. The fear of going back never stops. If you gain 5 lbs you freak out and feel like it’s 100. The loose skin isn’t something everyone embraces. Not everyone looks at it and feels comfortable in their skin but it’s always better than going back to not being able to move the same. Losing weight is awesome but some of the feelings and emotions are hard. Ppl downplay the mental work that goes into transformation and even into keeping it off.

I passed nclex! I’m a nurse! It still feels surreal. This all started from a divorce, working 2-3 jobs, and a love for ppl. I can’t wait to see where else life will take me.

Loved seeing her. She sounded just as good as on the radio.

There are days I forget how far I have come. On those days I look back and compare. 5 years of changes. Everyday it’s worth it. Everyday it’s a struggle.
