Our dearest WeatherWell family!

It’s with heavy hearts that we have to announce that WeatherWell is closing its doors, and will no longer be available in the App Store as of May 31, 2023. Life is like the weather: unpredictable, and with a mind of its own. Sometimes, things don't work out the way we’d hoped.

First of all, we want to thank you for being a part of this journey! We’re so proud to have helped you to develop a healthier relationship between your well-being and the weather. We couldn't have come this far without you. Since WeatherWell’s redesign in July 2022, you’ve logged over 260 000 symptoms and we've shared almost 1 500 000 insights with you, a testament to how much WeatherWell meant to all of us! We’ve read each and every one of your reviews on the App Store and social media, and your support and kindness have meant the world to us.

We know that this news may be upsetting for some of you, but we urge you to stay positive and remember that no storms last forever, and clear, sunny skies are always waiting just beyond the clouds.

We want to assure you that your data is safe with us. We won't sell your personal information; we will delete all identifiable info about you (like your emails) and securely store the anonymous data.

As a parting gift, we’re offering you a chance to download the history of everything you've logged and experienced with WeatherWell. In the coming days, you'll receive an email with instructions on downloading your tracked symptoms.

We appreciate your time with WeatherWell and wish you all the best on your journey to a healthier and happier life!

Take care,
The WeatherWell Team

With May underway, there are blue skies ahead… but did you ever wonder why the sky is blue? 🔵 Well, here’s a for you!

The light from the sun is made up of all the colors of the visible light spectrum. As sunlight passes through the Earth's atmosphere, molecules of gas in the air scatter the light. The short wavelength of blue light causes it to scatter more than other colors, making the sky appear blue!

April is a month of transition: cold giving way to warm, dead wood being replaced by new growth. Here are some suggestions to help you shift your behaviors and make the best use of this fresh start:
🌄 Wake up with the sunrise: try to sync your body clock with the earlier start to the day.
🚵 Plan more outdoor activities: enjoy the warmer weather by being active outside with your friends and family.
🧘 Meditate to the sounds of nature: spend time in green areas, and simply pay attention to the abundance of life around you.
🧹 Do some spring cleaning: let go of that which no longer serves you – physical possessions, bad habits and negative thoughts.

The sun was warm but the wind was chill.
You know how it is with an April day.
When the sun is out and the wind is still.
You’re one month on in the middle of May.
But if you so much as dare to speak,
A cloud comes over the sunlit arch,
And wind comes off a frozen peak,
And you're two months back in the middle of March.

– Robert Frost

Did you know that every day from now until summertime will have about three extra minutes of daylight than the day before? ☀️ It may not sound like a lot, but just think of all the amazing ways you’ll be able to spend that time!

People often say that spring is a time of new beginnings, but did you know that the season itself actually has TWO beginnings? Here’s this month’s :
🔭 The astronomical beginning of Spring starts on March 20th, the vernal equinox – when the sun is directly over the equator and day and night are the same length in both hemispheres, about 12 hours each!
📡 The meteorological beginning of Spring is a little earlier, on March 1st – that’s because meteorologists divide the year into four equal seasons that each start on the first day of every third month!
