What a great day at Jersey Mike’s. We couldn’t be more thankful for all the Jersey Mike’s staff. They were amazing and handled the crowds with ease!

To all that supported through purchases and donations thank you so very much. Each of you contributed to the success of the event.

HUGE THANKS TO OUR ATHLETE GREETERS who took time out of their days to greet and thank customers. We truly appreciate you! Thank you Jennifer, Jessica, Gretchen, Samantha, Ryan, Brandon, Jonathan and Kenny. Special thanks to Eric who stayed for a second shift!

Today, on World Down Syndrome Day, we proudly honor our Special Olympics athletes and their families. Our athletes show us every day what courage, perseverance, and sportsmanship truly look like, proving that ability is not defined by a label but by heart and hard work.

This year’s global theme, “Together Against Loneliness,” reminds us how important it is to build real connections and inclusive communities so no one is left on the sidelines. We are committed to creating spaces where every athlete is welcomed, respected, and given the chance to shine – on and off the playing field.

On Friday, April 17, the Greater Lehigh Valley Pocono Region will host a Mobile Polar Plunge at Lehigh University. These mobile plunges bring the excitement directly to campuses across the state while raising critical funds for our local Special Olympics athletes.

We’re currently looking for a driver with experience operating vehicles with trailers. The Mobile Plunge unit is a 35-foot trailer hitched to a Special Olympics truck. This role is strictly for transportation - no setup or breakdown is required.

The driver will pick up the unit from our office in Bethlehem at approximately 8:00 a.m., transport it to Lehigh University, and return it to the office at the end of the day (around 6:00 p.m.). Compensation is $25 per hour for transport time (approximately 2 hours total).

This March is Jersey Mike’s 16th Annual "Month of Giving." Special Olympics will join forces with Jersey Mike's loyal customers and team members to raise money for Team Pennsylvania going to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.

During the month of March, customers can make a donation at any Jersey Mike’s restaurant in-person or through the Jersey Mike's mobile app to help athletes attend the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games.

The Month of Giving campaign will culminate with Jersey Mike’s “Day of Giving” on Wednesday, March 25, when Jersey Mike’s around the country will give 100% of the day’s sales to Special Olympics to support both local programming and the 2026 USA Games.

There are nearly 100 Jersey Mike's locations in Pennsylvania that are supporting Special Olympics! To find the Jersey Mike’s store nearest to you, follow this link and be sure to stop in on March 25 (or any time this month) to support Team Pennsylvania!
