Do you ever have issues with staying focused or do you have a child who can’t concentrate? The following blends may help to enhance focus and get you and/or your child back on track.
🌸 Diffuser Blends 🌸
Diffusing oils aromatically is a great way to use them for brain function, focus and concentration. My favourite diffuser blends to use to aid in focus are:
3 drops Lime
3 drops Frankincense
3 drops Peppermint
3 drops Tangerine
2 drops Peppermint
2 drops Rosemary
3 drops Wild Orange
3 drops Peppermint
2 drops Rosemary
2 drops Frankincense
(This blend is affectionately known as my ‘Get S**t Done’ blend! 😉 I also have it in a roller bottle, see below)
3 Citrus Bliss
3 Peppermint
3 Lavender
(This one is good for adding some ‘calm’ to your focus)
🌸 Roller Bottles 🌸
As well as diffusing, you can try applying your oils topically. It is very important to dilute your essential oils in a carrier oil first to avoid skin sensitivities! The easiest way to apply oils is with a roller bottle. An example is:
Add the following to a 10ml glass roller bottle:
3 drops Wild Orange
3 drops Peppermint
3 drops Rosemary
3 drops Frankincense
Top up the remainder of the bottle with your preferred carrier oil (I use Fractionated Coconut Oil as is it easily absorbed into the skin).
Shake the bottle gently before use and apply to wrists, temples and back or the neck or behind the ears.
If you are using the roller bottle on a child under 12 years of age, there should be no more than 12 drops of essential oil in the bottle. If you’ve never applied oils, start with even less - you can always add more if needed. ALWAYS seek guidance on how many drops of essential oil to use if you are not sure.
🌸 Inhale 🌸
Don’t have a diffuser or roller bottles? A super simple trick is to add one drop each of Wild Orange and Peppermint to the palm of your own or your child’s hand, gently press your hands together and then inhale deeply.
Hopefully you have found some of the above useful. As always, if you have any questions, please ask. ☺️💜
