Facing surgery can feel overwhelming, but did you know that understanding the details like what type of anesthesia you’ll receive or where your surgery will take place can actually reduce your anxiety and even your pain afterward?

Knowledge is power, especially when it comes to your body.

What’s one question you’d want answered before surgery?

Fiber made you bloated? It’s your microbiome saying, “Whoa".

Try starting low, go slow: ½ dose for a week → increase gradually.

Aim for soft, formed stools (1–3/day).

Pair with water and movement.

This alone can quiet hemorrhoids, reduce smearing, and improve comfort.

Share your preferred fiber brand and why it’s your choice below.

What actually happens in a colorectal exam?

External look (no instruments).

Gentle finger exam to check tone & tenderness.

Small anoscope (smaller than a vaginal speculum).

“Mirror-on-a-stick” seated look if needed (to see real-life prolapse).

You’re allowed to pause, adapt, or choose an exam under anesthesia when appropriate.

Smearing when you wipe?”

You’re not dirty, you’re not sealed.

Low-grade f***l incontinence and prolapsing hemorrhoids can keep the a**l sphincter from sealing.

First steps: soft, formed stools (fiber + water), avoid straining, and book an exam with someone who evaluates the anus/rectum every day (colorectal specialist).

Save this and share with someone who needs answers, not shame.

Does your bladder control your schedule?

Bladder retraining helps you teach your bladder to wait longer between trips.

Start by scheduling bathroom breaks every 90 minutes, then gradually add 15 minutes every few days.

Over time, your bladder learns to stretch, and you gain back freedom in your day.

Drop a🧡 if you agree small steps = big change.

That sudden “gotta go” feeling doesn’t have to win.

Try this urge suppression technique:
➡️ Stop where you are
➡️ Do 5 quick pelvic floor squeezes (Kegels)
➡️ Take a calming breath (inhale 4, hold 2, exhale 8)

Most women find the urge passes, and you can walk, not run, to the bathroom.

Have you tried this? Share your results below ⬇️

Your bladder is trying to tell you something.

One of the simplest (yet most powerful) tools for managing overactive bladder is a bladder diary.

By writing down what you drink, eat, and when your symptoms happen, patterns appear:

☕ Coffee?
🥤 Sparkling water?
🍅 Tomatoes?

Once you spot your triggers, you can make choices that put you back in control.

Comment “DIARY” for your free download.

Modern support, not old-school solutions,

Pessaries and urethral seals are over-the-counter tools that can stop leaks instantly during exercise, travel, or daily life.

Think of them as athletic support for your bladder.

Would you use a device if it meant running, laughing, or working out without leaks?

Did you know?
Pelvic floor strengthening is the first line of defense against stress incontinence.

But here’s the catch:
It only works if you’re doing contractions correctly.

You need to stick with it for 3 to 6 months.

Consistency beats quick fixes.

Are you ready to commit to your pelvic health?

Let me know how many of you’ve tried Kegels, it helps me keep my content on point.
