🌿 The Hidden Power of Comfrey: More Than Just a Garden W**d! 🌿
Did you know that Comfrey (historically known as "Knitbone") is one of nature’s most nutrient-dense powerhouses? 🧬
While many gardeners grow it just to boost their compost, this plant has been a staple in traditional wellness for centuries. Here’s why it’s so fascinating:
💎 A Mineral Goldmine: Comfrey’s massive roots reach deep into the earth to pull up nutrients other plants can’t touch. It’s packed with Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium.
✨ The Cell-Builder: It contains a special compound called Allantoin, which is famous for stimulating cell growth and helping the body repair itself.
🥦 Surprising Nutrition: It is one of the rare plant sources of Vitamin B12, and is loaded with Vitamin A and C. In some cultures, it’s even been used in traditional cooking and "bone-knitting" teas!
🍵 Tea Tip: If you’re brewing a cup, traditional herbalists recommend using dried leaves for a more concentrated mineral punch. Just be sure to steep it long (10-15 mins) to get all that goodness out!
