The good news is that there are things you can do to keep your mind stimulated and functioning properly that are simple and even enjoyable.

Continue to Learn
Learning is one of the most beneficial activities you can do for your brain. Many people stop trying new things and looking for new areas of the world to explore as they get older. That is what causes the brain to shut down. Because you aren't using it as much, especially for new things, it isn't performing as well as it should.

Another thing you should do to keep your brain healthy is to stay involved in social activities. Involving yourself with others and remaining a part of the group allows your brain to function far beyond what it would normally do.

There is little hope that your brain will remain stimulated if you become someone who lives alone, talks to no one, and simply does the same things day in and day out. However, stimulating your brain through relationship building, stimulation from others, and simply being around other people can help to keep your own brain active.

Furthermore, most people enjoy being around other people, which can be beneficial to the brain. Doing things you enjoy enhances your overall well-being. Maintain Physical Activity We've talked a lot about the importance of physical activity, but it's also beneficial to your brain and the rest of your body.

Because physical activity increases circulation in the body, you will increase blood circulation to the brain. Furthermore, if your body is physically active, your mind is more likely to be active as well. The exercise regimens included here will benefit the senior in both body and mind.

I have been using Renew for a little over a month (haven't missed a night) and I no longer have trouble sleeping! So amazing!

That's the main reason I tried Renew, and I must say, I was skeptical - but I thought, "What do I have to lose? (except more sleep!)" I still wake up occasionally during the night, but I am able to go right back to sleep.

I wake up in the morning (sometimes with out an alarm - again, amazing - never happened before) feeling refreshed and well rested. Throughout the day, I feel more energetic and productive.
