💙 Meet Kendall — one of the hearts behind ElderCARE!
She brings compassion, skill, and true Tennessee warmth to every family she supports. 🌿

With over six years in healthcare, Kendall earned her B.S. in Health & Human Performance from UT-Martin and answered a true calling during the pandemic by becoming an LPN. 💙

Her background spans assisted living and home health, where she’s worked across disciplines to ensure every client receives compassionate, high-quality care. Passionate and grounded, Kendall is a true advocate for the families she serves.

When she’s not caring for others, this Tennessee native loves spending time with her husband, son, and golden doodle — especially out on the lake! 🌿

Rhonda King and I were thrilled to join the Building Community with Older Adults workshop, co-hosted by Encore Ministry, Engaging Communities Tennessee, and the University of Tennessee at Franklin First United Methodist Church. What an inspiring day of meaningful conversation about grief, connection, and what it means to become an Age-Friendly Church! 💙

And interestingly enough, Rhonda and I didn't plan our outfits.

Big things are happening at ElderCARE! We’re growing — and we couldn’t be more excited to introduce the amazing professionals who’ve recently joined our team.

First up: Meet Edwina Minar, LCSW who brings a deep understanding of behavioral health services and resources to the ElderCARE team.

Prior to joining us, Edwina spent over 20 years at Parthenon Pavilion, where she dedicated the last four years to leading the social services team. Throughout her career, she has focused on supporting geriatric and dementia populations, offering families both expertise and compassion.

We’re honored to have Edwina continue her mission of advocacy and care with ElderCARE, guiding older adults and their loved ones through life’s most important transitions. 💙
