Applications are Open for IAPC's Foundation Course in Palliative Care for Volunteers
Last Date to Submit Applications: Saturday, 15th November 2025

Course Overview
The Indian Association of Palliative Care (IAPC) invites dedicated individuals to apply for its Foundation Course in Palliative Care for Volunteers. This course aims to equip compassionate volunteers with the knowledge and interpersonal skills needed to support palliative care settings.
Course Structure
The program consists of two components:
1. Part A (Virtual & Theoretical): 16 hours of online training
2. Part B (In-Person Practical): 16 hours of hands-on experience
Course Dates
Part A, Online theory sessions will be delivered from Thursday, 20th November to Tuesday, 25th November, 2025 (3-5 p.m. on week days and 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday)
Part B - 16 hours of Hands on Training to be completed before 30th January 2026
Certification
To receive the course completion certificate, candidates must successfully complete both components.

The Fellowship in Palliative Care is a six-month international online course (January–September 2026), jointly organized by:

1. WHO Collaborating Centre at the Institute of Palliative Medicine, India
2.St. Christopher’s Hospice, London, UK
3.University College London (UCL), UK
4. Sanjeevan Palliative Care Project, India
5. Bangladesh Medical University, Bangladesh

🕓 Course Duration: 6 months | 240 total hours (including self-study)
