Sa buhay, hindi basehan na magaling ka lang, matalino, o may connections. Kasi kahit gaano ka katalino, kung madaling sumuko, mauunahan ka pa rin nung taong hindi tumitigil. ‘Yung may persistence. ‘Yung kahit ilang beses madapa, tatayo ulit. Yung pagod na pagod na, tumutuloy pa rin.
Sabi nga sa Galatians 6:9 (NIV):
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Hindi sinabi ng Bible na “you will reap if you are the smartest” or “you will reap if you are the most talented.”
Ang sabi, “if you do not give up.”
Ibig sabihin, hindi talino ang puhunan sa tagumpay, kundi consistency and faith.
Perseverance beats talent when talent refuses to work hard.
Minsan kasi, we measure success based on instant results. Pero ang totoo, success is built in silence, sa mga araw na pagod ka na pero pinipili mo pa ring gumalaw. Sa mga panahong walang nakakakita, pero ginagawa mo pa rin. ‘Yan ang tunay na lakas, hindi sa bilis, kundi sa tibay.
Sabi nga ni Winston Churchill, “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
At ‘yan din ang gusto ng Diyos na makita sa atin, ang courage to continue kahit mahirap, kahit walang kasiguraduhan.
Kapag tuloy-tuloy ka, kahit mabagal, darating ka rin. Kasi ang hindi tumitigil, hindi natatalo, kahit madalas matalo sa laban, panalo pa rin sa dulo.
Bakit? Kasi natuto, lumago, at tumibay.
Tandaan, God doesn’t bless perfection, He blesses persistence. He honors the one who keeps showing up, who keeps trusting, who keeps walking kahit hindi pa tanaw ang finish line.
Kaya kung napapagod ka na, pahinga lang but don’t quit.
Take a break, pray, breathe, pero huwag mong iwan ‘yung laban mo.
Because the moment you stop, that’s when you lose. But as long as you’re still trying, you’re still winning.
