Hey, I’m Julie K.
Founder of the Diabetic Travelers Network.

I help people living with type 1 to live fully unbound by T1D.

That means:
✨ eating the food you love (yes, carbs) without guilt
✨ traveling the world with confidence
✨ creating a life that actually turns you ON

My clients and I travel together on sensational group adventures around the world.

It is the place where connection is genuine, confidence grow,
and you unlock the type of person who go after her dreams not the one who watch safely from the sidelines wondering if trying something new will mess her blood sugars.

That version of you don’t try to fit in.
She owns her diabetes fully and unapologetically.
Inject in public and take pictures. She know she is the deal.

Honestly, being surrounded by fellow diabadasses changes everything.

Mindset doesn’t change in one day and frankly depending what you’ve been told at diagnosis it is more or less challenging.

This is why I’ve created a 15-day RESET challenge
to help you realign, reclaim your power,
and consciously choose the life you desire.

👇Comment RESET below and I’ll send you the link.

I believe every new diagnosed T1Ds need to go on MDI for a while to learn the importance of routine, how insulin works and nutrition.

Without this you’re left in the wild without the tools you need to live healthily with T1D.

Without this you find yourself telling the waiter want you want to eat, trying to push down your thoughts or anxieties around how you might feel later while listening to your friend talk about the new guy shes seeing.

Too many T1Ds feel overwhelmed because they were never taught nutrition (fat and protein aren’t THE thing. Insulin sensitivity is) or how insulin works with there body.

You can have both: live fully and peace of mind.

I’ve lived with T1D for 29 years, traveled to 30+ countries while maintaining TIR>80% (70%+ on MDI). It took me years to figure it out, I will teach you in just 12 weeks.

The outcome? You being able to adapt to any situations with a smile feeling fully confident in your ability to manage diabetes without it taking the majority of the space in your mind.

From perfectionist with perfect numbers on paper who wasn’t living her life
to living a life of freedom
where I travel the world,
eat food I love
and take care of my health
in a way that works for me.

Diabetes doesn’t have to be as complicated as they want us to believe.

There are solutions.

The well balanced blood sugar
and the Gelato in Italy.

The healthy fit body
and the night outs with friends.

The joy of travel to a new country
and the peace of mind that you know exactly what you’re doing.

And… if you don’t,
the trust in yourself that you’ll figure it out.
And be just fine.

This is what becomes possible when you do the work inside Fearless & Free™️: a 12-weeks journey to feel confident and fully capable of living fully and traveling boldly with T1D.

You get to have both: health and a full life.

Together we rise.

It is totally possible to be spontaneous, exercise, travel and eat food you love with diabetes.

Too little of us have been told how.

Thankfully after nearly 30 years living with T1D, overcoming time zone changes, foreign foods, competing in sport and traveling to more than 30 countries, I’ve cracked the codes of living freely, unbound by diabetes.

And I can teach you how.

Follow for PART 2 🔥

Diabetes | T1D | Type 1 diabetes

HERE👇

Everything I described in this video, I’ve lived it.
There is no judgment here.

Through almost 3 decades with type 1, I’ve been through many phases.
And I’ve learned a lot.

I used to micromanage my numbers.
I wasn’t targeting 150, I was targeting 80-120.
My blood sugars and A1C were perfect on paper.

Yet… I wasn’t living.

I said no to eating out with friends so I wouldn’t have to deal with highs or lows.
I stuck to what I knew.
It felt safe but kept me small.

One day, the call for more became louder than the fear.

So I said yes to a plane ticket and spent 6 months on the other side of the world, forcing myself to figure it out.

That trip changed my life
and my relationship with diabetes
forever.

You might believe you must be on top of it for diabetes to behave. That’s not true.
I developed a method that allow me to be spontaneous, fully present and care for my health.

I’m not talking to people who are constantly having highs and lows.

I’m talking to you the one who manages well at home, knows what to do…
but sticks to a routine that keeps you small.

While deep down, you crave to:

🌍 Book the flight without second-guessing
🌍 Enjoy the pasta in Italy without guilt or fear
🌍 Watch the sunset over Santorini with a chilled Diet Coke, feeling at peace
🌍 Wear that dress you love, turn heads, and not care about your tech

One trip can truly change your life and the way you relate to diabetes altogether.

Now imagine traveling with fellow diabadasses who get it.
No explaining. Everyone just understands.

✨ Healthy, delicious food
✨ Green juices
✨ Bucket-list adventures

It is the fastest growth catalyst on the planet.

I’ve seen it year after year.
Clients arrive carrying the mental load of diabetes…
and leave with peace, self-trust, and lifelong friendships.

I can promise you this:
When you travel with us, you will come back a new person.
