Easiest way to tell is by evaluating how you feel about you past. Your past dwell within your roots. Are you accepting, forgiving and loving towards your past? Or are you fearful, shameful, and feel guilt towards your past?

Your strength comes from embracing your roots. Your past is your past and you can’t change that. So you might as well embrace it by constantly watering your roots with love and compassion 💗

You can NOT heal an issue without being aware of the issue.

With self awareness also comes responsibility and accountability. You no longer have room for EXCUSES when you acknowledge that you ARE aware of the issue.

After you gain the knowledge then you have to put in the action and DO THE WORK! Doing the work is not easy but it is simple. All you have to do is make the commitment to it every single day.

There will ALWAYS be fear within growth because newness is uncomfortable 💯. Most times we get so caught up in the fear of growth that we don’t think about the consequences of staying stagnant.

Either way choose you go, it’s going to be uncomfortable and that’s straight FACTS 🤷🏽‍♀️. So pick your struggle. The contentment of staying stagnant or the fear of moving forward?

Either way, you’re going to be taking a risk. But which risk will bring you closer to your goals?

Yesterday, I must admit, I wasn’t feeling so confident. I was beginning to doubt myself. I was questioning my actions. I was feeling like I wasn’t doing enough and that I needed to do more. I was feeling like I’m not good enough and that my efforts was going unnoticed.
-
I allowed myself time to dwell in those emotions to get to the root of why I was feeling that way. And then, I remembered who I was. I had to remember all that I have accomplished so far. I had to remember all of the things I’ve overcome. How far I’ve come. I had to celebrate my small wins the same way I celebrated my big ones. After, that session of coaching myself out of negativity and self doubt, I was right back on track.

We all get those feelings of fear, doubt, and not feeling good enough. It’s inevitable. But just remember, not to stay in that space. Those negative thoughts that you tell yourself aren’t true. Learn when and how to catch yourself when you start feeling stuck and start to doubt yourself. Question whether or not if what you are feeling is true or not. And then, remember who you are and how far you’ve come so that you can began to move on with your life and your goals ✨

I’m sure that it’s clear to us that our mind, body, and soul is connected. All aspects of our being is important and needs to be fed, on a daily basis. But are we doing that?
-
Often times, we become imbalanced because we tend to one aspect more than another or not at all. For example, you may exercise regularly and eat healthy but continue to have self esteem issues because you haven’t reprogrammed your mind with positive self talk.
-
You may read all of the self development books and complete the business courses but you continue to have self doubt and struggle with fear because you aren’t grounded within your spirituality/faith and you don’t know who you are.
-
Or, you may do all of the spiritual work, meditation and “healing” but you continue to lack in your physical life/finances because you aren’t physically grounded in your body in order to bring that abundance into your 3D experience.
-
What I’m basically saying is that you need to feed your mind, body, and soul on a daily basis to stay balanced and experience the abundance you want out of life ✨

The 🌺 is up! It will began on Sunday May 3rd and last throughout the rest of May.

It’s an intermittent smoothie fast which includes a smoothie for breakfast, smoothie for lunch, and a clean dinner 🌱.

Like I mentioned before, I did this intermittent smoothie fast for the entire month of February. It helped me gain mental and emotional clarity. I also experienced a breakthrough moment which lead me down the path I’m on today 🙏🏽. It strengthen my foundation which helped me to set healthier boundaries for myself moving forward.

Prior to doing this fast, I was battling with stress and depression. I still struggled with setting healthy boundaries and self sabotage. Most of us end up in unhealthy situations because we are not grounded in who we are. We continue to try to build on weak a foundation and wonder why things always fall apart.

If you are struggling with this right now, I challenge you to do this Spring Cleanse with me. You don’t have to be perfect and you might fall off some days, but I will be right here to motivate you through it!

Throughout my life, I’ve survived many battles. Some that brought me to my lowest points. Where I experienced the dark night of the soul. Where I had to face and confront my demons. Situations I’m blessed to have made it through 🙏🏽

When I felt like I wanted to give up on myself and my life, I thought about my children and that motivated me to just keep going. “No matter how tough it gets, you have to keep going!”

So if you find it hard to keep faith and find motivation, think about your children who are depending on you and/or think about the things you love to keep you going. What would make life worth it to you? What ever your answer is, allow that to be your motivation to keep going❤️

Made this Citrus Body Butter 🍋 for my family on Xmas 🎁

Fun Fact : I started making my own natural skin and hair care products back in 2010 when I decided to do the big chop and go natural 💇🏽‍♀️. I’ve always been a health nerd lol 🤓 This was around the time I began to take my products and the health of my hair and skin seriously🌱

This is me! No filter 🚫 and no makeup 🚫 other than my brows filled in. I used to struggle with hormonal acne which I still get but it’s not halfway as bad as it used to be. I wasn’t necessarily living a healthy lifestyle either.

I had loads of unnecessary stress, I was not eating as healthy, I had toxic ppl in my space and I was drinking and partying WAY TOO MUCH 😭

Obtaining healthy skin is a lifestyle, not just a product. The food you put in your body, the things you put on you body. Your mental and emotional state of being. The ppl and energy you allow to be in your space. You have to take ALL of those factors into consideration when you’re wondering why your you skin is not in its healthiest state.

I will share more of what I do to keep my skin healthy and the lifestyle changes I’ve made in later post 🌱. Feel free to share and show me some love on this post 💕
