Another 12hr appointment in the bay down. My boy is literally the strongest child I know. He did that testing like a CHAMP. And ofc the neuropsychologist and her student just loved him and showered him with prizes😂 He did his best the entire time, no complaining.

She did come out and talk to me. Nothing official until the report is done but she did let me know that the fact Vin can talk through the ending of his seizures is an amazing sign that surgery will not effect his language. It may slow down his ability to find his words a tad but with such a low risk “if it were her baby she would do the surgery” it’s about 80-90% that we will kick epilepsy’s ass for THE FINAL time🤞🏼😭 he deserves this and I need it! Depending on her report and scores his case will be presented to the board next Thursday.

Got the picture from Vincent’s doctor. This is his actual brain, all the scans show the same spot which is what they want to see when thinking about LIT surgery. Now we wait and see what the neuropsychologist says on Thursday. It will be a long day just hoping for a more for sure answer🤞🏼

Vincent was finally approved for services through Alta Regional center. Another check off the list. Been waiting forever for this as well, but services are now approved for the rest of his life as long as we are in California 🤍

Here we are. Another medication to fail my boy. This time his ADHD meds. He’s lost too much weight so now we start the weaning process. Ready for things to get better for him. He deserves the whole world😭

3hr appointment for Vin done. His 2hr appointment is scheduled then we will have the results appointment beginning of July🙌🏼 UCSF is so amazing and I’m so happy to be working with them they are ready to school TwinRivers on something’s and IM HERE FOR IT🫶🏼😩

Finally a Dr not afraid to talk about CBD.

I know CannaCan and I stand on that! I could literally just cry happy tears. There is a prescription CBD that we can possibly get insurance to cover that could potentially help my boy soo soo much. I’m tired of adding new meds when one more fails us. Send good vibes✨ for the first time in three years I finally feel we’re exactly where we need to be😭🙌🏼
