Chocolate Donuts

1 cup (140g) all-purpose flour
1/4 cup (25g) unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1/2 cup (100g) granulated sugar
1/3 cup (80 ml) milk
1/4 cup (60 ml) yogurt
2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Chocolate Glaze
1/2 cup (85g) semi-sweet chocolate or chocolate chips
3 tablespoons heavy cream
2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter

Strawberry Chia Jam
- Strawberry Jam to make all year round.

Ingredients

1 pound fresh or frozen strawberries, washed, hulled, and sliced
3 tbsp honey add 1 more tablespoon if you like your jam very sweet, or other vegan honey substitute
2 tbsp chia seeds

Instructions
Add the strawberries to the blender and blend until a smooth texture occurs. Add additional water to blend if needed.

Add the strawberries now to a medium saucepan over medium heat.

Add the honey and place on the stove over medium heat.

Let the mixture come to a slow boil, stirring almost continually. Once there are some big bubbles that break the surface, add the chia seeds.

The chia seeds will help the jam achieve a gelatinous texture.

Continue stirring the mixture over low heat for about 15 minutes, and then remove the pan from the stove.

Let it cool down in the jar. This is when the Chia Seeds will do their work and make jam out of the liquid.

Enjoy on toast, gluten-free crackers or scones, over yogurt or even ice cream.

Avocado

Lavender Lemonade

Ingredients
¼ cup dried lavender
2 cups boiling water
1 cup white sugar
8 lemons
5 cups cold water, or as needed
Ice Cubes

Instructions:
Pour boiling water over the lavender (in a bowl). Let it steep for about 10 minutes, then strain out the lavender and discard. Mix the sugar into the hot lavender water, then pour into a pitcher with the ice cubes.

Squeeze the juice from the lemons into the same pitcher.

Top off the pitcher with cold water, and stir. Taste, and adjust lemon juice or sugar if desired. Pour into fancy glasses and enjoy in the garden, balcony or the fav chair.
