COVID-19 UPDATE: 17 NEW CASES, 122 IN ISOLATION
Seventeen new COVID-19 cases, eight females and nine males, have been identified by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. There were 1,705 tests conducted on Saturday, July 31.
The number of persons in isolation is 122.
Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 4,407 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,141 females and 2,266 males). The death toll from the virus is 48.
To date, 219,408 tests have been carried out by the public health laboratory.
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 99,695 people have received first doses of the vaccines. Additionally, 76,248 persons – 31,493 men and 44,755 women - have been given second doses and are fully vaccinated. This figure represents 28.1 per cent of the population. (BGIS)

COVID-19 UPDATE: 11 NEW CASES, 113 IN ISOLATION
           The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has recorded 11 new COVID-19 cases – five females and six males. Tests carried out on Friday, July 30 numbered 1,440.
           There are currently 113 people in isolation.
           Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 4,390 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,133 females and 2,257 males). Forty-eight people have died from the virus.
           The lab has conducted 217,703 tests since February 2020.
           Public health officials have administered 99,695 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccines as part of the National Vaccination Programme. A total of 76,247 persons have received second doses and are fully vaccinated. These individuals represent 28.1 per cent of the population. (BGIS)

COVID-19 UPDATE: 14 NEW CASES, 133 INSOLATION
Six men and eight women have been identified as COVID-19 positive by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The facility conducted 1,233 tests on Thursday, July 29. There are 133 persons in isolation.
Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 4,379 confirmed cases of the viral illness (2,128 females, 2,251 males) and 48 deaths. The laboratory has carried out 216,263 tests to date.
So far, 99,544 first doses have been administered under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, while 75,779 persons (28 percent of the population) are now fully vaccinated, having received their second dose. (BGIS)

One person, a male, was identified as COVID-19 positive by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The facility conducted 771 tests on Wednesday, July 28.
There are currently 136 people in isolation.
To date, 4,365 confirmed cases of the virus (2,120 females and 2,245 males) have been recorded, and there have been 48 deaths.
The public health laboratory has carried out 215,030 tests since February last
year.
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 99,299 people have received first doses of the vaccines. Additionally, 74,877 second doses have been administered. This total represents 27.6 per cent of the population. (BGIS)

COVID-19 UPDATE: 5 NEW CASES, 149 IN ISOLATION
Five new COVID-19 cases, one male and four females, were recorded by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. There were 1,619 tests conducted on Tuesday, July 27.
The number of people in isolation is 149.
Since the start of the pandemic, 4,364 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (2,120 females and 2,244 males) have been recorded. The death toll from the virus is 48.
To date, the public health laboratory has carried out 214,259 tests.
The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has seen 99,278 people receiving first doses of the vaccines. A total of 74,851second doses have been administered which represents 27.6 per cent of the population. (BGIS)

Six males were identified as COVID-19 positive by the Best-dos Santos Public
Health Laboratory. The number of tests carried out on Monday, July 26 is 1,141.
There are currently 153 people in isolation.
Barbados has recorded 4,359 confirmed COVID-19 cases (2,116 females and
2,243 males) since the pandemic began in March 2020. Forty-eight people have
succumbed to the virus.
Tests conducted by the public health laboratory since February last year, have
reached 212,640.

COVID-19 UPDATE: 6 NEW CASES, 161 IN ISOLATION
The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory identified six new COVID-19 cases, two males and four females. The number of tests conducted on Saturday, July 24, is 1,530.
There are currently 161 people in isolation.
To date, 4,345 confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded (2,112 females and 2,233 males). Forty-eight persons have died from the virus.
Since February 2020, the lab has carried out 210,425 tests.

Nine people, two males and seven females, were identified as COVID-19 positive by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. The facility conducted 1,295 tests on Friday, July 23.
There are currently 187 people in isolation.

COVID-19 UPDATE: 11 NEW CASES, 181 IN ISOLATION
The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has recorded 11 new COVID-19 cases; five females, six males. The number of tests carried out on Thursday, July 22, is 1,675. There are 181 persons in isolation.
Since March 2020, Barbados has recorded 4,330 cases of the viral illness (2,101 females and 2,229 males), and 48 deaths. The laboratory has performed 207,600 tests since February 2020.
Meanwhile, 98,772 first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered under the ongoing National Vaccination Programme. To date, 73, 953 people (27.3% of the population) have received their second dose and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)

COVID-19 UPDATE: 17 NEW POSITIVES, 173 IN ISOLATION
The Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory has recorded 17 new COVID-19 cases, seven females and ten males. The number of tests carried out on Wednesday, July 21 is 1,336.
There are currently 173 people in isolation.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases recorded since March 2020, have moved to 4,319
(2,096 females and 2,223 males). The death toll from the viral illness is 48.
The public health laboratory has conducted 205,925 tests since February 2020.
Under the National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19, 98,592 first doses of the vaccines have been administered. To date, 73,814 people or 27.2 per cent of the population have received second doses and are fully vaccinated. (BGIS)

COVID-19 UPDATE: 10 NEW CASES, 165 IN ISOLATION
Five females and five males were identified as COVID-19 positive by the Best-dos Santos Public Health Laboratory. There were 1,288 tests conducted on Tuesday, July 20.
The number of people in isolation stands at 165.
Barbados has recorded 4,302 cases of COVID-19 (2,089 females and 2,213
males) from the start of the pandemic back in March last year. Forty-eight people have succumbed to the virus.
To date, 204,589 tests have been carried out by the public health laboratory.
The National Vaccination Programme for COVID-19 has seen 98,450 people
receive first doses of the vaccines, while a total of 73,621 persons have been given second doses. Those who are fully vaccinated represent 27.2 per cent of the population. (BGIS)
