5 G's. It is the grace and growth part that often trips us up. What if this time, you did not stop reaching for the goal? You may have to change the how you get there, but using grace and growth will keep your from quitting.

Next time ask yourself what would happen if you didn't quit? What if you utilized a mindset of grace for the mistakes and growth for the things you have learned? Gratitude will allow you to see the obstacles as one more chance to grow!!! You are meant to thrive.

Inner Peace is not a concept my inner midwest farm girl brain would have acknowledged years ago. As someone who helps people navigate food cravings, health challenges, and implement new habits, I now understand the importance of keeping your inner peace.

We live in a world that often leaves us at the mercy of others actions and events that are out of our control. Choosing to not let the actions of others derial you from your goals is a major milestone.

Junk food is an easy socially acceptable bandaid to soothe our emotions. Notice I said band aid. It still doesn't heal the wound that was made. You have two choices, step one: You can choose whether the other person or circumstance controls your emotions. Choose yourself, sit with the feeling, become aware of looking at the situation differently. Step two: Throw out the bandaids. Either create a boundary for situations or others, and accept that junk food will not cover the wound. It is only a distraction. You have the ability to heal, and create a mind that doesn't need bandaids to cope.

You are meant to thrive!

Your belief system and perspective shape your reality, your views, your reactions, and ultiimately your heatlh. How you see yourself, your world and the stress you perceive directly impacts how your body responds regarding supporting your health or destroying your health.

There is always a choice. Ask the right question. Shift your perspective from why is this happening to me to why is this happening for me? Choose to grow. Let go of the victim mindset, choose to sit with your feelings, and let them go. There is no amount of food, running, or scrolling that will escape your own mind or feelings. Feelings and thoughts are just that....feelings and thoughts. Let them go! Find proof where they are not true.

When you decide to take control of your health, the real work starts inside. The inner work on your mindset, escaping liminting beliefs, and choosing growth is the real win. Exercise, food, sleep will fall into place when you start seeing yourself as the person you are meant to be. You are not meant to be trapped in your mind, food addticitons, over thinking, or any other self sabotaging belief you have. You are here for a reason, now go find it, and let's take a healthy body along on the ride.

Embarking on health changes is exciting, courageous, and challenging. You need a bigger "why" than the million excuses thrown at you daily. These excuses can be real or imagined. But ultimately the knowledge from within that you are worth the effort of feeling better, growing mentally and physically stronger, and putting in the work is key. Every effort, every intention, completed with consistancy is impactful. You win the resilience game with every step. Action is the key word. When life gives you reasons to stop, knowing your why is the key to keep going! You are meant to thrive!
