As October approaches, the weather is getting colder and fall weather is starting to arise! Also October is breast cancer awareness month! Please join me in achieving the 26 fitness challenge to support breast cancer! All details are in the post if you scroll through.

‼️This challenge is not just a fitness challenge! It is a fitness and wellness challenge related to overall health and breast cancer awareness! So anyone can join this challenge! Upon completion of this challenge you will receive a certificate!‼️

You asked for it!! Here was my workout yesterday! I had some new equipment to use so I took advantage.

I started with a 1 mile warm up on the elliptical, then transferred to a 1.5 mile run on the treadmill! Then I moved onto arms!

I did 3 sets of 15 reps of each of the exercises in the video! (Btw I recorded all the exercises as my first set of my workout, so if I look exhausted it’s because I am haha)

It’s a great upper body workout that has tons of variation and gets your heart rate up and muscles burning!

You can use an exercise ball to sit on the edge for core stability! Any type of ball will work, I used a 10lb medicine ball. Dumbbells will be helpful for some of the exercises!

‼️NEW WORKOUT‼️

There are 6 lower body exercises! Do 50 reps of each exercise! 6 x 50 = 300!!

Doesn’t matter how you divide it up. You could do all 50 reps at a time, 10 reps at a time and switch exercises, doesn’t matter! Good luck and get your fit on!

So much has happened in these last couple of months, which is why I’ve been kind of MIA. I’ve recently accepted a job at my alma mater coaching soccer as an assistant coach at Greensboro college! Im so excited work with athletes and combine my knowledge of exercise and soccer!

I have also started my summer internship in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. I’m so excited for this opportunity to gain experience and expand my knowledge working with a different population!

Having these experiences will just make me better and more knowledgeable in exercise and the human body to provide the best workouts and to be able to work with many many different types of people to help them in their exercise situations! It will also help me as I work towards my ACSM- clinical exercise physiologist certification as well as my CSCS (strength and conditioning certification)!

Anyways, I am back and will be coming soon with many new workouts, tips, modifications, and nutrition tips!
