Why caffeine boosts your mood and energy?
Caffeine blocks adenosine, the chemical that tells your brain you’re tired so you instantly feel more awake. It also increases dopamine, which improves motivation and mood. At the same time, it triggers adrenaline release, helping you feel more energetic and focused.
