✨ A reframe for anyone tired of pretending ✨
I’ve never liked the saying “fake it till you make it.”
It always felt like another way we’re told to ignore how we really feel and just push through.
And as someone who’s lived with anxiety for most of my life, I’ve done more than enough “faking it.”
Faking being confident.
Faking being okay.
Faking calm when my nervous system was anything but.
It’s exhausting.
And it’s not sustainable.
But on a long drive home from an Angelic Reiki weekend, I heard something that softened me:
“Don’t fake it till you make it. Faith it till you make it.”
Faking it asks us to DO and become someone we’re not.
Faithing it invites us to BE and come home to who we already are.
Over the past six months, life has brought me to a full stop.
And what helped wasn’t “trying harder”, it was letting myself be supported.

All of them held space for me. And in that space, I didn’t have to perform.
I could just be.
