This is very true!

Hope you’re having a good Thursday 🥰

Running trains more than your body. 🏃

With every run, your legs get stronger — but that’s only the surface. What really changes is how you handle effort, discomfort, and doubt. You learn to keep moving even when it would be easier to stop.

Running builds patience in a very quiet way. You stop expecting instant results and start trusting slow, steady progress. You show up again and again, even when no one is watching.

Discipline grows without force. It becomes a habit, not a struggle. Each run is a small promise you keep to yourself, and every kept promise builds confidence.

Over time, you start believing in yourself differently. Not because everything feels easy, but because you’ve proven you can stay consistent when it’s not. And that belief carries far beyond the miles.

Had a fabulous - albeit very very wet day - at Kew Gardens yesterday to see the Christmas lights trail. Thankfully the rain did stop (all of us wet through first though 🤦‍♀️) snd these photos don’t do it justice. The ligh displays were brilliant as was the various music pieces. Definitely would recommend it 🤩🤩

I underestimated the amount of walking I’d do - following my 5k run done earlier in the morning and didn’t take into account the 9k I had to do tiday. More about that in another post 🤣

Saying that……. It was great to connect with family 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

I love this explanation of stress……the whiteboard in our mind being full to capacity so even a tiny insignificant thing that won’t fit on the whiteboard can be overwhelming.

I went to a mediation event at this place a couple of weeks ago and might pop along to this one. I’m doing more meditating and like these little lessons that come at such events.
