I am still here! 🙂 I never meant for such a long gap of time to pass between posts here. Alas there has been *a lot* of life stuff going on behind the scenes, but I feel like I am finally coming up for air a bit. 🙂

My sweet bunnies Journey and River (pictured) excitedly hopped over to me this evening when I started setting up two of my bowls (a metal one that primarily plays C and a crystal one in G). 🐰🥣🐇 Anyone familiar with rabbits knows that they are sensitive creatures, including with sounds. They love when I play sound baths, and even become extra relaxed, which I feel speaks to the gentle healing properties of it. 🎶✨

On this Thanksgiving weekend, as many of us reflect on what we are most grateful for, I want to share one of those special “things” that has filled my heart this year. ❣️ At the end of September, the radiant meditation teacher Avery Whitmore offered a free sound bath live over Zoom, plus a generous giveaway of a Crystal alchemy singing bowl.

Tears filled my eyes as I heard MY Instagram name announced as the winner. For nearly 2 years, it has been a dream of mine to someday be able to play a Crystal Tones bowl. Being a disabled artist I wasn’t sure how that would be possible, but I tried to keep faith that somehow if it was meant to be, someday one would find its way into my life. I cannot thank Avery enough for this beautiful crystal alchemy bowl, and for also helping to further my dream to be a sound healer for others through this bowl. 🥰💖

This iridescent rainbow beauty is made of quartz and platinum, and plays a C note (often associated with the Root chakra). Right away, my bunnies Journey, River, and I have loved it’s soothing sounds and powerful healing vibrations. I am so excited to continue working with this special bowl and sharing its magic with all of you.

While playing my singing bowls out on my deck, a little honey bee visited my Bacopa flowers. 🌸🐝🤍 After a couple of very chilly days, the weather this weekend has been so unusually lovely again (low 60s and sunny) - a rare treat for northern Vermont at the end of October.

As I heal from COVID (day 7 today), it is such a blessing to sit out in the fresh air and be surrounded by the beauty of my garden still. Most years we would have had a hard frost long before now.

Having COVID forces us into isolation with our self, to find the light within. 🦠 This week challenged me to look beyond my initial reactions of shock at my first positive tests, fear of what was to come for symptoms, and disappointment (at my canceled plans). Along with resting and supporting my body with supplements and anti-virals, I turned to meditation to lift my spirits. 🦋

Thankfully we had unusually gorgeous weather here in northern Vermont for part of the week, so on Tuesday and Wednesday I brought some of my singing bowls outdoors for a few minutes. ☀️ Getting lost in the beautiful sounds, waves of overtones, and feeling the vibrations in my body was it’s own kind of medicine. 🥣✨ There have been times this week I felt lonely, so it really made me smile when a female cardinal visited me and chirped while I played the bowls. ❤️

Winter has been lingering in Vermont, and I still can hardly believe how beautiful yesterday was - sunny and up to 68! It was a great day to get down by Lake Champlain with all 6 of my singing bowls. I need to go through the video content still, but I hope to share a sound bath video or two here soon! 🌞

It’s actually snowing here in Vermont today, and I can’t help but reminisce back to half a year ago when I played my singing bowls on beautiful Lake Champlain in Panton. It was so magical getting lost in the healing vibrations during a sunset over the water. I can hardly wait to get out into Nature with my bowls again! 🥣✨🎶🥰
