Well after trying almost everything if you are still not losing your belly fat.. this might be of interest to you.. the most common mistakes I have seen people doing are
1) Focusing on Abs workouts when someone is still having a high body fat % of say >=30%. After all your belly fat is just a part of the overall fat, the only difference is its stubbornness !!
2) Not understanding that spot reduction is the biggest lie you have been fed by plethora of videos you see on social media (by even so called influencers).. the fact is that until and unless you have dropped your body fat to

**************** Top 5 Weight loss Mistakes ***********

1) The First and foremost mistake that people make is just tracking their weight.. The goal after all is to get stronger, more flexible, build more stamina.. along with losing the body fat %.. so inches is one very important thing we should track along with the weight - which will never move in a linear way throughout the fitness/weightloss journey. Also remember that muscles have more density than fat!

2) Fat is lost in the kitchen and muscles are build in the gym.. Hence tracking food is super critical.. once you really start tracking your macros you will realize how far off you are from your target.. eg:- RDA talks about 0.8-1.0 gm/kg of your weight, try this today and check where you stand !

3) Cardio/HIIT seems to be everyone's favourite as it burns great amount of calories.. But excess of anything is not good.. and hence excess of cardio can lead to muscle loss which in turn can hit your metabolism! The idea is to look and feel stronger and leaner.. isn't it!

4) Rest is the most ignored aspect in our life.. Often doing more workouts will not give results as a body that is under stress will start releasing fat storing hormones! Muscles also need recovery time for growth! Now this is not to say that we keep taking only rest and don't workout at all :-) This point is more for ppl pushing it way too hard in the gym and cutting down on their sleep

5) Now this is my favourite - Relying on all the time during our fitness journey.. First of all we should treat fitness as a mindful change we are making to our lifestyle to improve its quality.. Hence discipline is the key as motivation is short lived !!

While from my childhood DAAL was considered as a "GREAT" Source of Protein.. And during my Gym days, I saw lot of people talking about PEANUT BUTTER as fantastic source of protein! But, after gaining knowledge about macros, I understood where the gap in understanding was.. hence thought of quickly sharing this in my reel.
Fact Check - Every food will have the following macros - Protein, Carbs and Fat.. and it is basic logic that whatever is the highest amongst Protein/Carbs/Fat should be called the primary source of it.
If you know how to read labels you will realize that DAAL is a primary source of Carbs and PEANUT BUTTER is a primary source of FAT - and hence NOT really a RICH source of !!
So, you can take these sources to meet your Carbs and Fat requirements and not "depend" on these for your protein. Also, only animal sources (milk, paneer, chicken, fish etc) are complete sources of protein. Among veg sources only Soya is a complete source of protein.
Hope this helps you undertand how to skillfully meet your protein target!
