We are devastated to share that Flight Paramedic Kevin Robert passed away last night, August 27th, following a sudden medical emergency. Kevin, alongside a flight nurse and pilot, were caring for a patient aboard LifeNet 7-13, based out of Ticonderoga, NY.

Our crew quickly landed at a nearby hospital while our communications center coordinated emergency resources for Kevin and our patient. Despite the extraordinary efforts of our crew, communications teams, first responders, and the hospital staff, Kevin could not be revived.

Our priority now is the well-being of our teammates and the continued support of Kevin’s family. The Ticonderoga base remains on safety stand-down as we allow our team the time and space they need to grieve.

We ask that you keep Kevin’s family, friends, and teammates in your thoughts, and join us in respecting their privacy as we all navigate this heartbreaking loss. We will forever cherish the memories Kevin leaves with us, and we will carry his memory and legacy with us on every mission.

Huge Shout Out!
What an incredible accomplishment made by our nurse/medic Phil.
For those of you who don’t know who Phil is, he is the base lead here at 7-2 meaning he is tasked with all the behind the scene operations that keeps the base running smoothly. He is also ontop of making sure the patients we serve always have what they need, plus ensuring his crew has what they need to be happy and successful in this career. We are beyond blessed to be lead by such an incredible asset. Couldn’t do it with out you Philly ❤️

Perks of being stationed at an airport is watching all the diffrent aircraft’s land and take off and sometimes we even get to meet some pretty cool visitors!

Today we got to meet blacky!!
A 12 week old puppy who was flown up from a shelter down south who will be looking for a forever home! What a brave and sweet girl she was.

It was a remarkably busy week for 7-2, with a multitude of scene calls and several necessitating dual aircraft, fostering close cooperation with our friends LifeNet of New York 7-1.
Furthermore, we partnered with a local school on a mock DWI drill, watching multiple agencies join forces to underscore the importance of safe and sober driving. As summer progresses and students graduate, we stress the importance of sustained vigilance, safety awareness, and responsible behavior. LifeNet of New York 7-1
