Protecting Your Peace During the Holidays

The holidays can be beautiful...but they can also be emotional, demanding and loud.

For many people, this season brings more than twinkling lights and celebrations. It can stir up old patterns, interesting family dynamics, unspoken expectations, financial pressure, and a constant pull to do more, give more, and be more.

If you’re feeling the weight of that, I want you to know this:

Your peace matters.

You are not required to sacrifice your well-being to honor the season. You are allowed to move through the holidays with intention, gentleness, and boundaries rooted in love.

One of the most powerful practices during this time is prayer—not as a way to fix everything, but as a way to anchor yourself back into your center.

Below is a prayer you can return to whenever things feel overwhelming, overstimulating, or emotionally charged.

A Prayer to Protect Your Peace During the Holidays

Divine Creator and Loving Angels,
Today I am asking for peace.
As this season brings gatherings, expectations, memories, and emotions,
I choose to navigate it all with love.

Protect and bless me at every turn.
Guard my energy from overwhelm, obligation, and comparison.
Help me release the need to please, explain, or overextend myself.

Remind me that it is safe to pause.
It is safe to say no.
It is safe to choose rest, quiet, or whatever nourishes my spirit.

If old patterns arise, bring me the awareness to choose differently.
If tension rises, help me breathe through it and speak with love.
If I feel pulled in many directions, keep me anchored in the present moment.

May I move through this season with clarity, compassion, and love.
Let joy be simple.
Let peace be intentional.
Let my nervous system feel supported and held.

I invite only what aligns with my highest good,
and I release what drains or disrupts my inner harmony.

Thank You for reminding me that peace is not something I have to earn.
It is something I am always worthy of, something I choose, and something I gift to myself.

And so it is.

This week offers us new ways—and a new lesson—on protecting our peace.

The angels are sharing that this week it’s especially important to be willing to let some things go in order to protect your peace. As you hear this message, you’ll likely know exactly what they’re referring to—the one thing that may not be as important as you once thought.

They’re asking you to gently release it.

Letting this go opens the door for your peace to return in a fuller way. The angels make me feel that once you reconnect with that peaceful space within yourself, everything else begins to flow more easily again.

They also remind you that there are many blessings surrounding you right now. Some of these blessings may have been harder to notice while your energy felt pulled or distracted. As you come back into peace, you’ll be able to see them more clearly, connect with them more deeply, and move back into the natural flow of receiving.

There is also a strong emphasis this week on moving your body. Emotions can get stuck, and energy can become stagnant when we’re holding too much internally. Even simple movement—stretching, walking, gentle motion—can help release what’s been building and support you on every level: physically, emotionally, and energetically.

Pets come back into the message again this week, but in a slightly different way. This time, it feels as though they’re helping to get your attention. Your angels, guides, or even loved ones on the other side may be working through your pets to connect with you. If your pet seems to be watching something you can’t see, seeking extra closeness, or acting a little out of the ordinary, it may not be because they need something—it may be because they sense that you do.

Some of you are already thinking about changes you’d like to make in your career or life direction as you approach the new year. The angels want you to know that ideas are beginning to come forward now, helping you prepare the ground for the seeds you want to plant in the year ahead.

Trust what’s coming in. There’s no need to rush—this is a time of gentle preparation.

May you experience Joy in everything you do,
Beauty in everything you see,
Hope in everything you desire,
And Faith in everything that you are.

May your blessings be abundant and your gratitude, too.
May you practice peace on earth and good will towards men.
May you spread love and light wherever you may go.
And may you always remember how very much you are loved.

This week is all about fexibility. That may not be what you want to hear... but chances are you may have already experienced some frustration over trying to make things happen and you feel like you are pushing and hustling and no matter what you have done, you just have not been able to get the outcome you are looking for. It's time to step back, take a moment and then come back with a different approach.

Ask the angels what you need to see or how you can get to your outcome in the most easy and peaceful way.

It is important to pay attention to your own rhythm and flow. Sometimes those shift, so its best to pay attention and not fight the changes that are actually occurring for you.

The angels are also asking you to focus on your loving relationships. This messgae came through a few weeks ago but is calling for your attention again. Not only do you need to create time to show love and apreciation but the angels ask you to be aware of where you may be having these needs yourself.

The bigger message here is that if you find yourself feeling disconnected from your partner or even neglected, don't withhold love.

Often times, when someone feels they are not receiving what they need, the first response is to withold love and instead you are being asked to give. Don't be stingy with your energy or your love when it comes to your partner. Giving will connect you back to the magic you both are in need of.

This month I want to share something with you that I shared with my Soul Circle members a few months ago. As we come to the close of a very interesting and what many might call an intense year....faith is something we definitely benefit from holding on to.

When we talk about faith, most of us picture trust in something bigger than ourselves... in God, in the Universe, in the Angels, in the Divine plan that guides our lives. That kind of faith is powerful, but it’s only half of the picture. True faith has two wings, and both are needed if we want to rise above fear and move forward with confidence.

One wing is faith in the Divine. This is the deep knowing that you are supported, protected, and guided even when the path ahead looks unclear. It is the surrender that whispers, “I don’t have to know how it all works out, because I trust the Divine does.” This wing lifts you into peace when life feels uncertain and reminds you that unseen help is always close at hand.

The other wing is faith in yourself. Without it, you may know the Divine is with you, but you won’t take the steps that allow miracles to unfold. Self-faith is choosing to believe in your worth, your inner wisdom, and your ability to follow through. It is the courage to say, “I am capable, I am guided, and I will act on the inspiration I receive.” This wing grounds you in personal responsibility and empowerment.

When both wings are strong... faith in the Divine and faith in yourself... you soar. You move through fear with clarity. You stop hesitating at the edge of opportunity because you know you’re held and capable at the same time. The Divine may provide the wind, but your willingness to trust yourself provides the lift.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, ask yourself: which wing have I been neglecting? Do I need to lean more into Divine guidance, or do I need to strengthen my self-trust? Nurture both, and you’ll feel your spirit rise in ways you never thought possible.

Because faith isn’t a single step. Faith is a pair of wings.

Are you stuck trying to make a decision?

This week it is all about getting clear about what you want. There is really great energy that is rising to the surface and meeting us... but if you are not really clear about what you want you are going to find yourself falling into old habits and patterns .....leaning into feelings of angst that might make you feel stuck and stagnant. We don't want that. This is a time to realize that sometimes we prefer to pass off our decision making to others. We often pass them off to our angels and guides because we trust them (they are very trustworthy). But this week the reminder is that you have free will and that free will is important.

The angels want you to make choices that are filled with purpose and intention so they offer you the outcomes and experiences you truly desire. They don't want you aimlessly moving forward and then being disappointed with how things played out.

So, take the time to get clear. The angels can help you gain the clarity you are looking for. Give them the opportunity to get your attention. Create the space for dialogue. This does not have to be difficult. You don't have to meditate for thirty minutes... you just need to be open to receive and pay attention.

This is the week to say yes to yourself ....but you need to know what you are saying yes to.
