This morning, we received a new operating table for one of our theatre units, a big boost for our surgeons as they attend to the growing number of surgical cases in our facility.

Led by our Medical Officer in Charge Dr. Griffins Omondi, Nursing Services Manager Janet Munene, and Lead Resident General Surgeon Dr. Ephraim Maina, the theatre and surgical teams were all present to mark this important milestone.

Later in the day, we were honored to host a delegation from AMREF Health Africa alongside health officials from Meru Teaching and Referral Hospital, who paid a courtesy call to Maua Methodist Hospital.

The team was warmly received by our Chief Executive Officer, Prof. John Mungania, and engaged in fruitful discussions on various areas of collaboration.

Yesterday, Maua Methodist Hospital had the great privilege of hosting a delegation from the Christian Health Association of Kenya (CHAK), led by the General Secretary Dr. Chris Baraza, who paid a courtesy visit to the hospital.

The team was warmly received by our Chief Executive Officer, Prof. John Mungania, alongside the Hospital Board Vice Chair, Bishop Kinoti Anampiu, and members of the hospital management team.

UPGRADING OF MAUA METHODIST HOSPITAL – KIUTINE BRANCH

Yesterday, a dedicated team from Maua Methodist Hospital visited the Kiutine Branch to assess the ongoing upgrades and preparations ahead of the grand opening scheduled for 21st November 2025.

The progress so far is highly encouraging, with final touches now underway to ensure everything is ready for this exciting milestone.
The upgraded Kiutine Branch will offer enhanced Outpatient and Maternity services, greatly benefiting communities and institutions in Kiutine, Murera, Park Gate, Maraene, Ndoleli, Kathithi, and many other surrounding areas.

This milestone not only enhances local healthcare access but also strengthens our connection to the broader Maua Methodist Hospital network, ensuring seamless, quality, and compassionate healthcare even closer to our people.
