If you are lucky enough whilst out on a walk with us, you may get to see the beautiful herd of deer that are often seen in the field opposite where we stop at the ‘tuc shop’.
This morning they were out and pretty up close to us, and were not fazed at all.
It certainly made the cold frosty morning that bit more special 🥰

Although it’s been bitterly cold today, all the ponies are happy. Lots of hay and cuddles 🥰
They even decided Hayley was going to be the Pied Piper!

‼️ IMPORTANT ‼️

We have been made aware of reported cases of strangles in the area.

Strangles is HIGHLY contagious, deadly disease and we are going to put a couple of precautions into place, in an effort to keep all our ponies safe.
There will be a trudge outside the gate- upon arrival we will ask you to dip your boots and shoes in it, and also provide hand sanitiser before coming in to the yard.

Although strangles is harmless to humans, we can carry it and pass it onto other horses and ponies via direct contact, clothes and shoes.

If you have been in contact with other horses and ponies, can we ask that you change your clothes and throughly wash your hands before visiting us.

Although our risk is VERY low, we hope you can appreciate that we just want to take any measures necessary.

This morning, we took Ernie, Blue and Gino to the local church to attend the service, placing a purple wreath down in order to remember and commemorate all the animals who served alongside men and woman for our country, thanking them for all they have done.
