This review from our lovely customer, Linda 👇
"After having my skin react to the ones supplied with my Guardian sensors I decided to try these patches. What a difference they make. They never move (even through sweating, running and dancing) and I’ve never once had a skin issue. Highly recommend this product for anyone with sensitive skin."
Thank you for supporting Type Strong (and protecting your sensor), Linda! 🫶

Insulin resistance is one of those terms we hear a lot, but don’t always fully understand.
In simple terms, it means your body isn’t responding to insulin as well as it should — so your pancreas has to work overtime to keep blood sugars stable.

A lovely review from new customer, Angela. 👇
"Having knocked many CGMs off my arms in the early stages (including one that I'd put on only 1hr earlier) , I was very keen to find a patch that would save them. I haven't lost a CGM since using Type Strong patches. Well done with this great product."

We are beyond proud to celebrate Brodie Sargent (), who has successfully completed his extraordinary challenge—running 42.2 km every day for 26 days, finishing with a half Ironman, and raising over $31,000 for The Type 1 Foundation! 🏃♂️
For the 27 days of Brodie’s journey, Type Strong doubled our donations to The Type 1 Foundation in support of his incredible effort, contributing $1552. Together, we’ve helped show that Type 1 Diabetes does not define your limits.
A huge thank you to Brodie, everyone who cheered him on, and the amazing humans involved supporting him, for making this journey possible. Here’s to strength, growing awareness, and breaking barriers, one marathon at a time. 🫶

Hi, my name is Ryan and I’m the founder of 'Type Strong'. This is my story.
It’s January 2019, I’m at my local gym and I jump on the scales for my regular check in. I look down expecting 83kg to appear… nope, 76kg.
I didn’t think too much of it to begin with and practically tried to eat my way back to normal weight. A few months passed by and my weight dropped down to 72kg. At this point I felt weak and very, very thirsty… like 600mL of water every hour thirsty! Eventually I decided to stop being stubborn and I went to see a doctor. My BGL was 44.8 mmol/L and my ketones were 3.8 mmol/L – I didn’t know what ‘normal’ levels were but the look on my doctor’s face said it all!
Some time has passed since I was first diagnosed, and I have come to realise that my story is not unique - there are millions of Type 1’s who have lived through a very similar experience. I have since learned that diabetes is relentless and plain hard work, but it doesn't mean that we have to miss out on the things that we love doing.
In my everyday life I am a qualified Mechanical Engineer who loves to think outside the box and do things differently. I can't wait to get stuck into building Type Strong and creating more awesome products that help to make our lives that little bit easier.
