Navigating the Three Phases of Stress: Alarm, Resistance, and Exhaustion. It all starts with awareness. It’s important to note that once we reach phase 2, there may not be any outward signs of stress but your nervous and endocrine (aka hormone) systems are still working. Left unchecked, this is the phase where our body starts to endure negative long term damage related to high blood pressure, diabetes, autoimmune disease and more. This is the sweet spot we should be keying into in order to halt the progression of the stress response.

Recognize the signs, embrace resilience, and prioritize self-care. 💪✨

🌬️ Taking deep breaths is a physical action that has helped to calm our body and mind. Deep breathing increases oxygen supply to our brain and triggers the body's relaxation response, which helps to reduce stress levels.

Deep Breathing also encourages us to release any tension, worries, or negative thoughts we might be holding onto - allowing the space for us to mindfully acknowledge whatever is causing us anxiety and consciously release it.

Letting go doesn't mean ignoring our problems, but rather accepting that some things are beyond our control and choosing not to dwell on them. So go ahead and take some deep breaths! Bring our focus to the present moment!

Let's Breathe deeply and Cultivate our sense of calm. 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️
